1 Application Instructions Thank you for applying with Expert AuPair! We look forward to working with you throughout the application process. Please download this application on your computer and fill it out completely. Be as detailed as possible when answering the questions on the application. Remember, you want your profile to stand out to host families. The more information you can provide them, the better! Most families are particularly interested in your experience caring for children, so be sure to include this. Please do not answer the application questions in all capital letters so that your application is as easy to read as possible. Always be sure to write a letter for potential host families to read. All au pairs are answering the same questions on their application, so the letter to your host family is where you can truly capture the attention of host families. Families want to get to know you, so here is where you can be unique. There is no right or wrong way to write this letter, but letting your personality show in your letter is important. Some questions that you can think about include: What makes you different from all the other girls applying? Is there something unique about you (do you play an instrument, sport, etc.)? Why do you think you would be a good au pair? What are you hoping to discover while you are an au pair? If you have a driver's license, tell them more about your experience driving! Including photos with your application helps to bring you to life! Host families always request to see photos, so this is important to include with your application. Try to include photos with children, your family, or maybe doing an activity you really enjoy. Remember this is like a job application, so be sure the photos are appropriate.
