3 PISCES Sun Sign Pisces individuals are likely to be very sensitive. You may be susceptible to all kinds of things, often without even being aware of it. You feel the mood swings and the frame of mind of the people around you and often adapt to them without even knowing that you are doing so at the time. You respond unconsciously or subconsciously to the problems people around you (or close to you) are having, and you can feel sad and miserable right along with them, even though their problems are not yours at all, and your own life is going along just fine. You may even on occasion feel guilty about things that do not concern you at all! This can be difficult for you, because unknowingly and unconsciously you carry the emotional burdens of other people along with you in your own life. However, you are truly a blessing to the people in your environment. Not only do you empathize with others, you identify so well with them that you know exactly the right things to say or do in order to help. You know precisely what attitude and which behavior is called for, and you know how to adapt yourself to provide exactly what other people need from you. You like being a comfort to other people. You are a quiet and unassuming person, and you enjoy being there for

4 others. More than any other Sun Sign, you can put your own ego to the side and focus on the needs of the people around you. You don t need to receive any kind of reward for your help. And you can even willingly sacrifice yourself without other people being aware that you are doing so! Because you are so selfless, meek, submissive and ready to help, there will be times the people you meet in your life will try to take advantage of your good and selfless nature. But it is also possible that your gentleness and docility gets on other people s nerves. Sometimes the people around you would really like to know what you want. They would like to know your opinion and they would like you to assert yourself! It gets under their skin that you are always so dependant and acquiescent (as they see it), that you can be influenced by other people and allow yourself to be led. For periods in your life you may not even know who you are and/or what you want out of life. You are so good at identifying with other people that for a long time you may not even know that you need to find and establish your own identity. It will be part of your process in life to find the solution to this personal dilemma (even to figure out that you first tend to identify with others), because that is the way for you to find yourself and to learn what feels good and right to you. It is very possible that some people imagine that you are playing up to others, or that you have no opinion of your own, or that you have no will of your own. In actual fact your way of developing your own personality is through identifying with other people first. You find your true self often only later in life. As a Pisces there are many ways (some totally opposite each other) in which you can develop into your own special person. Since you don t have an inflated ego, and your own needs can be of secondary importance to you, it is quite possible you

5 might become a very religious or spiritual person. You are able to offer true compassion and help to the suffering people of the world. Since you don t need to be at the center of the universe, you may arrive at profound insights and wisdom through contemplating the world around you. But you may also lose yourself, and reach a point where you aren t able to tell the difference between fantasy and reality. You can become so wrapped up in your dreams that you begin to imagine you live in or you make up your own reality, one not necessarily synchronous to the reality of other people. You can see yourself as the hero, while other people may have a totally different view of you. It is possible you give the impression of someone who is confused or weak. But it is equally possible you inspire others and you are a rich source of creative power that helps other people see themselves and the world in a much more positive light. Of course not every Pisces is exactly like the other. There are friendly Pisces, whose gentleness is in fact a sign of their enormous inner strength. There are Pisces who lose their grip on reality. There are Pisces who follow their dreams. And there are many other ways for people to express their Pisces Sun Sign. The personality traits of a Pisces with the Birth Number 2 and 9 mesh well with the description above. However, Pisces with Birth Numbers 1, 4 or 8, for instance, differ greatly from this general portrayal. So the Personality Codes for each Pisces explore how they are influenced by their Sun Sign and Birth Number combinations. 6 PISCES - 1 The Creative Pisces There is no Sun Sign less connected to the way the Birth Number 1 character traits usually express themselves than Pisces. The Birth Number 1 indicates that you are an energetic, active and dynamic person. When you see a problem or a difficult situation, your inclination is to head straight into it. Making decisions is second nature to you. You direct your attention towards the world at large, and you are on alert, ready to assert yourself. You are ambitious, and you like to come first. This is all so totally different to the personality and behavior we usually associate with a Sun Sign Pisces individual! The Pisces Sun Sign does not bestow an abundant amount of energy on its members. You are more likely to be passive, and you usually start in on (or get involved in) something when others encourage you to do so. You like to circumvent problems, and are not a very decisive person. You prefer to focus on your thoughts and feelings rather than seek a position or status in the outside world. You prefer to go with the flow rather than venture an opinion that is decidedly different from that of the mainstream. You lack the egotism inherent in the Birth Number 1 in general. You are able to feel compassion for and empathy with others, and you can be utterly unselfish. Therefore the combination of the Birth Number 1 and the Sun Sign Pisces can cause you much distress and confusion. Maybe the way you express yourself is by renouncing all of the more considerate Pisces qualities in your personality, acting in a self-assured and ambitious way as you focus on winning your place in the world. You may think you are making your own choices in life, doing things your own way - but it is quite possible that you unconsciously follow

7 the example of people you secretly admire (or idolize). You may be trying to deal with your life by copying their kind of behavior, by aiming for goals more suited to them, not necessarily the right ones for you. If you are doing this, the choices you make and the actions that result from those choices never somehow really seem to allow you to feel comfortable with yourself and your own life. You may not know how to cope with the more aggressive aspects of the Birth Number 1 qualities, and you put all of those inclinations aside, trying to assume an attitude of utter selflessness and tolerance. In that case you will nevertheless, unknowingly, assert your personality and demand recognition and appreciation for your efforts and it is possible that you trigger feelings of guilt in other people in the process. On the surface it may appear that you are selfless and good, while you actually are sending out signals to others that you expect them to take note of you and what you are doing, to recognize and appreciate your efforts! It will be a great challenge to create harmony between the opposing aspects or qualities of your personality represented in your Personality Code (Birth Number and Sun Sign) but it will not be impossible. When you are able to accept both sides of your nature (the strong and assertive parts as well as the gentle and compassionate parts), you find it possible to explore your personal gifts, your creativity. The combination will give you a rich fantasy, an enormous imaginative faculty along with a profound need to find a creative outlet. Even though part of you may want to go your own way, never having to sympathize with other people, it won t be possible. You are very sensitive to what goes on in your immediate environment. You have powerful antennae that pick up on every subtle nuance. You feel, are aware and connect to the underlying stream of consciousness that makes up the spirit of the times you live in. You are going to be able to translate those signals in a

8 creative way. You could do this in the realm of innovative and imaginative ideas, but you might also translate these signals into music or other art forms. Finding a way to combine the qualities of the Birth Number 1 with those of your Pisces Sun Sign in a positive way in your life is very important. It will not only allow you to experience incredible bursts of creativity, it will also make it possible for you to find something to do with your ideas or concepts, some way to continue working on them - even when the going gets tough. PISCES - 2 The Tolerant Pisces The personality traits of the Birth Number 2 and the Sun Sign Pisces are like as two peas in a pod; the natural Pisces qualities are enhanced and accentuated by the attributes of the Birth Number 2. Therefore, in all probability, you tend to be an unobtrusive person, likely to subordinate your own needs to the needs of others. You are tactful, caring, understanding and supportive. You sense without needing words what others would like, and you don t mind adapting to their wishes or desires. Even when people go too far and stretch your patience to the limit, you excuse their conduct and gloss over their shortcomings. You are tolerant to the extreme! You accept the way other people behave and you never judge them out of hand. As much as other people may impose themselves on you, use you or try to take advantage of you, you find ways to give them credit; you can find the reason to excuse their behavior towards you - after all there is always a reason, isn t there? You do this first of all because you really are very complaisant and generously accommodating. But secondarily, it may have something to do with the fact

9 that you find it very hard to stand up for yourself! It is likely that in a relationship with someone else you give them every possible chance to do as they please, out of the goodness of your heart, of course. But even then, when they trespass over every imaginable boundary, you don t dare do anything to put a stop to it. And you end up in impossible situations. Everyone adds their straw to the bundle you carry on your back, but you need to be aware that even you can collapse beneath the load of abuse that people may find very easy to put on you at some point. Because of your passivity, you allow things to happen to you. Not knowing what you really want is not very helpful either. It may take a long time for you to have the feeling that you are on the right track in your life. You may always be in doubt about what you like or don t like and what makes you feel good about life. It is so natural for you to adapt to others that it won t be easy for you to figure out what kind of person you really are. One thing, however, will be clear to you. It is important for you to be in a relationship. You don t want to go through life alone. You want somebody for the better-or-worse-part, so this is certainly a major goal in your life, the finding of an actual soul mate. Should you for some reason not find a life companion, you will probably try to put all of your energy into helping the poor and the suffering, but you would prefer to give your undivided attention to one person only. And you have a lot of love to offer. You want to be meaningful to your partner (you have the ability to submit and submerge yourself totally in a relationship, so be careful!), but what you would most like to feel is that together with your partner, the two of you form the perfect union. You would like to be able to share one another s thoughts, feelings and experiences - reaching a spiritual bond with the one you love. Should this mean that

10 there are parts of you that need to be sacrificed in order to experience such a bond with your partner, you will make the sacrifice, gladly and unconditionally. PISCES - 3 The Cheerful Pisces You are such an attentive and friendly Pisces! You want everybody to have a good time, and you make a lot of effort to please everybody, acting with the best possible intentions. You give anyone whatever it is you think they want (or need), and generally you are much loved by everybody in your life. You make the effort to give compliments or small gifts, without causing the person who receives them to feel that you are sucking up to them. Your generosity stems from a good heart, and the people around you feel that as well. Your positive attitude about life gives you an air of cheerfulness and innocence (perhaps even naivete). In a childlike manner you live your life under the assumption that the world is a good place, and all the people that live in it are also good. You never suspect anybody of mean intentions. You like to enjoy the good things that life has to offer, though you can go overboard sometimes because you don t always know where to draw the line, or when to hold yourself in check. It is difficult for you to set limits for yourself. Not only are you indulgent to others, you are likely to indulge yourself! You won t be tough on yourself or set strict limits on something you like, and if you enjoy your food or drink, you won t know when to stop even though it would be wiser to do so. Additionally, you are likely to offer your help or any assistance when asked for it far too easily, and then you may not always know how to fulfill the promises or commitments you make.

11 Most likely you don t have a clear image of the boundary between reality and fantasy either. Because you want the world to be a beautiful and kind place, you see only the happy things and you create a fairytale world to live in - wearing rosey glasses as you look out over life. Because you don t always have your feet planted firmly on the ground, this can make life difficult for you. But in a way it is your source of strength. You will always be able to see the positive, the bright side of life if you will, no matter what situation you find yourself in and this attitude will certainly help you to deal with life! One thing you will be really good at is acting. As a Pisces you know how to identify with other people, and with the Birth Number 3 you love to share your artistry and talent with others as well. The communicative talent of your Personality Code could express itself on stage or screen - and it will surely show up in conversations of all kinds. You like to be around other people, and it is important for you to learn about them because it inspires you in turn. You may have a hard time finding a life partner though, because you like so many people, and you have special feelings for so many of them. At the beginning of each new relationship you tend to keep everything on a superficial and friendly level, taking your time before finally committing yourself and actually telling yourself that you are in fact part of a couple. But once you do commit, you will love spending time with your partner, and you will find a great deal of joy and satisfaction in your relationship.

12 PISCES - 4 The Level-Headed Pisces Combining Sun Sign Pisces qualities with those of the Birth Number 4 is not an easy task. Pisces tend not to be very practical and don t generally have a lot of energy, while Birth Number 4 people are indefatigable and steady workers, very conscious of the importance of efficiency, always aware of the practical aspects of everything. The Number 4 part of your personality doesn t provide you with much imagination, doesn t allow you to dream (or daydream), and anything connected to emotions or feelings will probably be viewed as problematic expressions of weakness. But since you are a Pisces, everything is about feelings. You respond to the world with emotion, and your imaginative abilities and your dreams are of prime importance in your life. Such contradictions must collide now and then! As a reaction to these opposing forces, you may ban all emotions, every imaginative impulse and all spiritual nonsense from your life - trying to be as earthy and grounded as possible. Of course, when you try to keep out all the feelings and you don t allow yourself to sense things, you become out of touch with yourself. There will surely come a time when you are not able to control your feelings any more, and they will begin to control you! For this reason it is quite possible that you ll be surprised by your own uncontrollable sentimentality on occasion, but in more problematic cases you may even develop psychological disorders that will be difficult to resolve. Perhaps, on the other hand, you might try to get rid of the practical and logical side of your personality (the Birth Number 4-side), and thus create a situation where you utterly get lost in your fantasies. You can create a complete dream

13 world - one that is very real to you, but actually has no connection to what is going on in the rest of the world. Of course, it is possible that you find a way to find balance between the very different influences that make up your personality. This will make you a very practical and levelheaded Pisces, one who is able to stand firm, be determined and successful. When you really succeed in establishing harmony within yourself, you find you are able to express your creative talents and capabilities in a very concrete manner. You will be able to give your dreams a practical and sound footing that will surely lead to wonderful results in the world. With the Pisces-4 Personality Code, you tend to wait for the decisions or actions of others before deciding which direction to go. You are not as inclined to take the initiative on something on your own. You need others to activate you, and when they do, you can get a lot of work done! You are obliging and helpful, though more than any other Pisces, you expect to receive something in return, You are not the kind of Pisces to readily sacrifice yourself for the sake of others. You will want to have a partner and a family, and to live a quiet and uneventful life with them. It will probably be difficult for you to deal with all of the turmoil that comes with growing children. There will be times when it seems natural for you to show them how much you love them, but there will also be times when you don t know how to deal with your emotions. These shifting moods may confuse you, and may make you hands-off at times, but those who know you well will certainly find a way to deal with, and accept and love you in spite of it.

14 PISCES - 5 The Humorous Pisces The Birth Number 5 indicates that you are an especially talented Pisces, even though it may take a while before you figure out the direction you want to take in life to develop your talents, and which skills you would most like to put to use. It may take a long time simply to know what you would like to do with your life! Because you have multiple talents, the choice will be even harder. This doesn t mean that you stand still and do nothing while you are still wondering what you might be best at. You are more active than the average Pisces. The thing about you is that you are flexible, adaptable and resilient. You may look in many directions and try many things, but find nothing that completely satisfies you. Even as you grow older, you are likely to bring all kinds of new interests and elements into your life on a regular basis, possibly even switching tracks altogether! You can start on a new course of study, try to find your fortune in a new profession, or leave a job to start your own business. You may be a late bloomer, but you will certainly become someone very special. You are able do so many things, and when you allow yourself to find a direction in life, you pursue it with heart and soul. You tend to try to deny your emotional or intuitive impulses. You probably grasp things quickly, but your way of understanding them may be very different from people who are more intellectually oriented. You do have, however, a lot of admiration for people that bring up rational considerations, who build up their case in a logical manner - and you will certainly try to emulate their ability. You like to tell everybody what a rational kind of person you are, while

15 actually the intuitive impulses that are part of your thought process give you all the creativity and originality that makes you so special. It is likely that you will act as if these feelings and uncanny intuitive abilities play no role whatsoever in your life and in the choices you make. You prefer to run away from emotionally charged situations, pretending that nothing is the matter - rather than deal with them. You prefer to act as if all is well - and sometimes you might even believe it yourself! You have a wonderful sense of humor. You probably don t take yourself too seriously, you are able to see past your own ego and laugh at yourself. Because you know how to make fun of yourself, you can also see the humor in other people, so you may make fun of them too. However, you will never be mean, or destructive. You are way too friendly for that. You love spending time with other people and having a good time with friends. You are a pleasant companion and you certainly captivate others. In the area of romance you attract potential partners, but you don t want to commit to a personal relationship too soon. As long as you are still in the process of finding yourself, searching for the best possible way to become the best you can be, you shrink from the idea of having to deal with the responsibility of having a family. Of course, you will want to do some research in the area of relationships, because you do like thrills and excitement. But a real commitment will only be possible after you have the feeling that you have found your way in life. PISCES - 6 The Responsible Pisces As a Pisces-6 two things are very important to you. First of all there is the matter of your work. You approach the idea

16 of work in a very serious manner. You feel responsible for what you do and everything that you consider to be your task. The problem is that you might feel responsible for all kinds of things, even when it is actually none of your business! It is hard for you to put limitations, restrictions or boundaries on what is your job and what is not. You work hard on things that could easily be delegated to others. But because you have a special antenna for things that need to get done, and because you also sense when or where something might go wrong, and because you would feel guilty if you hadn t done something about it - it is very convenient for other people to have you around. You will always get the job done! So others will certainly take advantage of your sense of duty and responsibility, consciously or otherwise. All in all this means that you keep yourself very busy, while in reality you are not an A-type personality, and you might like to lean back in your chair once in a while. Mostly, however, you are driven by your sense of duty, and because of that you are a very diligent worker. Secondly, your family will play an important role in your life. Although the Sun Sign Pisces may give you the tendency to take a long time figuring out what you might want to do with your life in the area of career choice, the Birth Number 6 will drive you to find a partner (and start a family). You are a romantic Pisces, and you can fall hopelessly in love. So it is quite possible that you can idealize someone and become infatuated with a dream image you have created of the person, instead of really falling in love with the actual person in your life! Sometimes this can lead to a rude awakening, but sometimes you know how to adjust the internal image of your partner so it becomes something close enough to reality. And if you see your partner as being a little more handsome

17 or beautiful than they are, what harm can there be in that? Once you feel yourself snug and cozy together, you want to keep it that way. Since your Birth Number is a 6, you will want to protect and take care of the other in your life. As a Pisces you also very much want to be taken care of and protected by your partner. In fact, what suits you best is an equal relationship in which you can mutually cherish, love and support one another. This type of relationship is not always easy to find (or maintain). You can feel that you are sandwiched between your work on the one hand and your partner and family on the other. Both will tug at you, and you feel responsibility for both. But choosing and deciding when you only have enough energy for one or the other, is not one of your stronger suits. Mostly you will allow yourself to be pulled along (or pushed, as the case may be) by whichever one is tugging the hardest. If you have a convenient partner your work will come first and your home life will be in the background, always coming in second. If you have a demanding partner, your work will take second place - because you hate the idea of having to argue or explain your actions and decisions to someone else. You want to maintain a proper, correct and friendly interaction with others - especially your mate! So you always try to be attentive and complaisant to the most demanding party. PISCES - 7 The Intuitive Pisces The Birth Number 7 part of your Personality Code indicates that you like to do things in your own quiet way. You want to work at your own pace, and you certainly do not

18 like intrusions on your privacy. You are an individualist, and you are friendly yet reserved around others. You hate it when other people intrude on your space, try to take a look over your back yard, or convince you to participate in activities you don t feel like doing at all. You have your own interests, and you want to have the space and time to devote to them quietly and peacefully. Now, the Pisces part of your Code indicates that you are not terribly self-centered; you not only want to pursue your own endeavors but indeed you like relating with other people. You need to comfort others and to help them. Fortunately there is a way in which the differences between the characteristics that make up your personality may combine and strengthen one another. As a Pisces-7 you can try to help other people while adding a somewhat impersonal twist to your way of doing it. You might feel very happy about being able to contribute generously to a charitable cause - working for the greater good without having to deal with the people you help on a personal level. In this type of circumstance you can be very selfless and obliging, while at the same time keeping your distance, claiming time and space for yourself and at the same time doing your good deeds. You are not the kind of person that steps forward or volunteers an opinion or a suggestion without thinking things through thoroughly in advance. You are more likely to express yourself only when you feel you have something to contribute to the conversation, and often even only when people specifically ask you what you think about the matter. You are not the kind of person who wants more than anything to make it in the world or in society, nor are you driven by the ambition for riches and status. You could even end up turning your back on all worldly affairs, dedicating yourself to immaterial and spiritual endeavors instead.

19 You might express or have a great deal of interest in the mystic or metaphysical worlds. You may have a special gift in these areas, being both a Pisces and having the Birth Number 7. The Birth Number 7 encourages you to try to understand seemingly irrational or illogical realities, and you will want to study each interesting phenomenon, to analyze and dissect it to gain understanding. You are quite intelligent and you may try to pay more attention to what your intellect tells you about life. Nevertheless it will be the feelings, emotions and your intuition that offer the impulses you need to reach understanding. You are actually a very sensitive person, and you may gain deep insights, ones that eventually give you an opportunity to grasp the truths of life. More than any other Pisces you are gifted with intuitive and spiritual abilities, making it possible for you to become a true mystic. But then, you will have to learn to trust this intuition of yours, and be prepared not to want to look for a logical and rational explanation whenever you encounter anything out of the ordinary. PISCES - 8 The Businesslike Pisces The qualities of the Sun Sign Pisces and the Birth Number 8 are actually quite dissimilar to each other. Pisces tend to be gentle, sensitive, emotional, friendly and complaisant. You probably have all kinds of good intentions about making life nice for everybody, you are ready to help in any way you can - sometimes even willing to sacrifice yourself in the process of doing so. As a Pisces, you may be willing to excuse anybody and everybody for their offences, and to list the difficult circumstances that have caused someone to make mistakes or be unpleasant. You can be doubtful and

20 hesitant about when and what to do, what decision to make in any given situation. However, the Birth Number 8 part of you knows exactly what you want! In working towards the goals you set for your life, you may be ruthless, demanding the utmost of other people but also of yourself. The goals in the life of a person with the Birth Number 8 are clear-cut, almost certainly aimed towards reaching a exalted position in society and in life. The Birth Number 8 gives you enormous willpower and great personal ambition. It will make you practical with the ability to work productively and efficiently. Being a dreamy (and most of the time completely impractical) Pisces, it is clear that your combination is going to cause certain problems for you! It is possible that you allow yourself to be influenced mainly by your Birth Number, suppressing the Pisces part of you. If that is the case, you will strive to the utmost to become the ideal tycoon - rich and powerful and on top of things! In doing this, you will probably succeed in earning a good living, and attaining a respectable position in the world. Perhaps you will even get to the top, and be able to take on the leadership role and pull all the strings. But all the while, you will somehow feel like you are an actor in your life, playing a part because you never feel quite at home with this kind of destiny. If you follow the path of your Birth Number it is likely that you will ask so much of yourself, demand that you reach such high goals, that most certainly you will be disappointed with yourself at some point along the way. You are likely to feel unworthy and weak that you are letting yourself down by never reaching the impossible goals you have set for yourself. Consciously or unconsciously you can end up with some kind of illness that gives you the excuse you need for not having

21 been able to do all of the things you told everybody you were going to do. However, as much as you should not deny your Pisces nature, it is also not an option to ignore your Birth Number 8 qualities. However much you try to live the Pisces part and care for others, please them, and accommodate them and their needs, you know that deep inside there is a drive to prove yourself in the world. You will have to try and find a balance between these two divergent personality parts within you in order to live a happy life. The solution might be to find a job in which you can feel important, but one that allows you to work using your kind-hearted qualities. Instead of trying to be the corporate cutthroat, or the executive with a killer instinct in business, maybe you would be happier being indispensable in an environment where your charitable and service-providing qualities are rewarded. Instead of spending all your time on an ambitious career that will never really satisfy you, you would do yourself much more justice spending time with your loved ones. You may passionately love and care about your partner and children, but you will need to make room for them in your life, find time to spend cherishing and loving them. Modify your goals for prestige and position in life, and you will find true happiness is waiting for you. PISCES - 9 The Diplomatic Pisces The Sun Sign Pisces and the Birth Number 9 would seem to be made for one another. Many of the qualities of the Pisces Sun Sign are also part of those in the Birth Number 9, qualities like selflessness, tolerance and attentiveness. Rich imagination, love of mankind, idealistic dreaminess, all of

22 these qualities can be found in the personality of both the Pisces and the Birth Number 9. This combination indicates you are a kind-hearted person with a lot of caring and understanding for others. You may even be self-effacing without feeling that you sacrifice yourself or deny yourself anything for the sake of others. You possess an innate modesty. You don t push yourself or your opinions on others and you are willing to adapt for the sake of the greater good (though it must be said that part of the reason you may be so accommodating is because it is important to you that people like you). You try to find the golden middle ground in all situations. You want to be friends with everybody and you try to please them all. Because of your subtle sensitivity, you often find the right diplomatic approach, or say just the right, diplomatic words - and you succeed wonderfully in your endeavors to maintain or create compromise. You may be adaptable, but whenever you have a goal to focus on, you put all your energy into reaching it. Diversity and intensity are two words that describe the way you deal with your relationships.
