Grinding the edges of each piece makes Annieglass more chip-resistant than fine china or stoneware. Each artist skillfully hand paints each piece, making every piece wonderfully unique. Each Annieglass piece is carefully loaded into a kiln for firing and aligned on a ceramic mold, where the precious metals are fused with the glass. After firing, Annieglass is dishwasher safe because the precious metal is melted to the glass by the slumping process. The final step is the quality inspection and the hand engraving of our studio signature, guaranteeing authenticity. Personalization Because of our handcrafted process, each piece of Annieglass is available to be personalized and engraved.
