Roundtrip shuttle transportation can be arranged and the Halihali Shopping Shuttle can be utilized for additional fees if needed. Savings on parking and gas for a rental car will be significant. However, if mobility is a concern the most advantageous route of transportation will be a rental car. Airport Transfer: Booked via taxi which will be billed to the Make-A-Wish Hawaii Chapter. Ground Transportation estimated $130 -$150 Roundtrip per family Car Rental: Booked and charged to Make-A-Wish Hawaii. Wish families will have accessibility to see more of the island while on their stay however, parking rates will apply and with driving distances, Chapters should account for at least 2 fill-ups on gas. 3 ACCOMODATIONS Recommend 5 Nights/6 Days Please note Aulani has strict occupancy restrictions and the Hawaii chapter must know of all participants comp and non-comp that will be on property. The Hawaii chapter works very closely with the Aulani Vacation Planning Team and no guests are allowed on property unless they have dining reservations. Non-comps must contact Aulani to book their own room not utilizing the Make A Wish relationship. Rooms cannot be upgraded and difference paid by wish families. STANDARD ROOM In Standard Rooms, comfort and luxury strike a soothing balance. These cozy accommodations invite Guests of all ages to relax in a Hawaiian haven with magical Disney touches. Standard Room Features: 2 queen-size beds or 1 king-size bed with queen-size sleeper sofa and 1 full size bathroom. Capacity: Up to 4 Guests per room (3 rd Adult $100/night), 382 square feet. STANDARD ROOM 1 King w/ Sleeper Sofa 2 Queens (pictured right) VACATION CLUB VILLAS One and two bedroom villas feature a living space and full kitchen and for families of 5 or more participants are often more economical than the standard rooms option. 1 BEDROOM VILLA (pictured above) Offering over 750 square feet of luxurious living space, the 1-Bedroom Villa comfortably accommodates up to 5 Guests. Please note that daily free activities are available for all guests including hula lessons, lei making, music lessons, arts and crafts, storytelling, movie on the beach nights, and access to Aunty s Beach house. 5 OFF-PROPERTY ACTIVITIES Make-A-Wish Hawaii recommends only booking one offsite activity at the family s explicit request otherwise a Hawaii Wish may be more appropriate. The activities will be booked by the Wish Assist Coordinators through their vendor connections, and whenever available, will receive a special Make-A- Wish rate. Most excursions require the booking of a one-day rental car. Please keep in mind the Aulani resort is relatively isolated; travel time will result in most of these activities taking the whole day. Offsite Excursions will take priority over carefully planned AULANI activities and will not be rescheduled. The master chefs at Aulani make use of the finest local ingredients and offer something to please almost every palate. PLEASE NOTE: The Aulani Resort is in a remote location and off property dining options are minimal and at a distance. It is essential that you allow ample expense money to cover resort menu options.
