2 Happy 14 th Anniversary! Today, I celebrate 14 years with this amazing company! I had no idea what I was doing when I joined back in 2003, I had always been a factory worker, and later a hairstylist and nail tech. No idea the friendships that awaited me. The knowledge that I would gain, nor the money I would make. I took a chance, and never once through the years have I regretted that decision to join this "little candle company!" :) I love what I do, and I love our products! It's true, we have the "best candle on the market today!" I'm grateful for the ability to take time away from my business when life interrupts, like it has at times through the years. Like it did 4 years ago today when I lost my hubby. No matter what, I have gotten a check every month for the past 14 yrs, whether I was actively working my business or had to step back and deal with life's trauma! I am so grateful to have found this company, and I am so very blessed for the people that have made the past 14 years so amazing and wonderful! I'm looking forward to many more years to come! 3 NOTE FROM CHARLIE: This is a perfect example of a direct "selling" business one where the products are loved by retail customers who feel the price is not too high (a major challenge for most MLM retail pricing) and so good that the customer continues to purchase year after year. When I look at this business what I see (If I were a distributor and building a business) is an organization of sellers who are servicing a handful of local and long distance customers but are also building teams of the same nationwide. It would look like this you sponsor 5-10 distributors each (and every) year and from there you have at least 3 of them working towards building a team too. Over time those teams build out and you have 100s and even 1000s of distributors who each have a local and long distance customer base of about 10. This will create a few $100 in wholesale volume for each distributor (personal and retail) and you will have $1000's of dollars in monthly volume equating to a commission check that could be a great part time addition to your home or even one that is big enough to make you the full time earner in your home! 5 Scent-Sations: A Business that Gives you Lots of Options! I love the variety of things we can do with our candle business. Woke up today to an online customer order, a new sign up and a discussion with a business owner to do a custom label for her business. Customers, team members, and businesses! Cathy Mahady I'm sitting here almost falling asleep when the phone rings with an unfamiliar number. I wasn't gonna answer it but for some reason I decided to say "Hello". On the other end of the phone was very excited girl telling me how much she loves the Angel Wings that I sold her at one of our vendor gigs. She's putting together some gifts for her friends and needs a half dozen of that purple candle that I sold her. I placed that order today for her as she needs them quickly. Bert Booz I was getting my hair cut yesterday and my hairstylist (a guy) asks me for a catalog so he can do his annual Holiday candle shopping. The lady in the chair next to me is listening and starts asking me about the candles as all of the workers in the salon are oooohing and aaaahing about how Mia Bella s are the best. As I am walking out to my car to get catalogs and samples the cashier says. Hey Tess, I need to sit with you and go over a fundraiser for my both kids teams as soon as you can get some time! Question: At what point when placing an order do I get my choice to use my points? I can't figure out how to use them!!!! Answer: Once you add what you want in your order at the bottom of the page go to the products in your cart, To use your points, click 'Edit' and 'Use Points' you must do it to each item you want to use your points on.

8 Question: I noticed some melts have a winter bag, is that just for the season or is that a variation to the fragrance? Answer: Winter Melts have 6 melts per bag vs the regular bags having 12 melts. Same scents. Just a more festive bag and the ability to buy more bags with a variety of more scents. Heidi s Stepping Outta That Comfort Zone! Kudos to Heidi Burgert for stepping out of her comfort zone. She has been working on setting up 2 fundraisers, on top of all of this she has 2 vendor gigs back to back this weekend...way TO GO!!! Heidi will be the first to tell u that she wanted to sell candles!! Now look at her. Love how this business can be worked so many different ways! Jennifer Dasconio Callahan A Sleeping Giant From Burt Booz: We do a lot of vendor gigs and we make a few good contacts along the way. One contact in particular Jennifer Dasconio Callahan has been cultivating where she is now negotiating some prime real estate inside of a store which is inside of a mall. As I watch her work I can't help but to turn up the heat inside of me and I go to work a bit harder. I have some success that I'm proud of and share it with my friend Jenn along its path of partnership...with all that's happening in this woman's life, things that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, she then tells me that she also has 3 prospects that are about ready to pull the trigger and play candles with us. 10 St George Greek Festival: They Came Looking for ME! I m so excited because someone came to my booth today and was so happy she said she went to a friend's house today and ask why does her house smell so good, they told her to go to the Greek Festival and look for Mia Bella s. She said she was looking everywhere, even inside and was so thrilled to find us. Another girl came back today to buy more melts said they were the best. She was having a garage sale and everyone was asking her what she was burning because it smelled Amazing even outside. So what are you waiting for get your Mia Bella s candles and now. 11 It s The Challenge That Will Move You Forward!!! The challenge started when I walked away from the table to talk a high school friend. The conversation lasted the length of a martini... time just ran away from me. It wasn't long before Jennifer let me know that she was alone at the table doing all of the work and all of the selling. Well I wasn't going to allow that... oops. I sprang into action and my sales flew above hers in no time flat and of course...i let her know it lolol...hmm that may have been a mistake. Holding pace and staying ahead of Jenn at the Bar Louie's vendor gig, I continued to crow until the packing up began. I turned my back for 2 seconds, long enough to grab a refreshment only to come back to Jenn speaking to a group of girls and candles flying off the table...oh my! The unspoken challenge and the subtle competition that ensued last night was quickly taken back and resides again with Jenn the "Queen" of the Sale... Bert Booz

12 Wrapped Simmer Pot/Melts For the Holidays! I have a holiday Sip and Shop this weekend. I made these Warmer/10 Melts Packs! Donna McDonald The Proof is in the Pudding Followed up with a pet groomer today that I met at a vendor gig about 2 weeks ago. I gave him the odor no more (of course) to try out for a couple of days for obvious reasons. I stopped in today to get his opinion on the candle and to collect a decision along with my candle. To my surprise he told me it wasn't a good time to chat. I asked if everything was okay and he told me a story about an old dog that was just in and had a very messy accident all over his shop.

13 Can't you smell it he asked? Well I couldn't. Why you ask? He had the odor no more candle burning which masked everything with a pleasant scent that filled his shop. We both chuckled about that and he asked a few questions. His customers were all commenting on the delightful aroma all the time the jar was burning. He told me this with a Giant smile on his face. He said he is definitely in and signing up on Monday. He's going out of state for a wedding and is booked solid until then. The loaner jar definitely works...
