Thanks to Zoltan Horvath, who tested the puzzles and helped allocating points. 2 MASYU Basic rule:draw a single loop through the centers of the cells, visiting every ball without intersecting itself. The loop makes a 90 degree turn in every black ball, but it goes straight in the cell where it enters and the cell where it leaves the cell with the black ball. It does not make turns in any of the white balls,but it does turn directly before or directly after visiting a white ball. Answer key:number of turns in each row,from top to bottom. answers:.. 0 Basic Turnyu The loop should turn atleast once in every outlined region. Deformable All black balls are disguised as white balls. Evenyu The loop must turn both before and after visiting every white ball

3 SLITHERLINK Basic rule:draw a single loop connecting the dots horizonta;lly or vertically.the clues indicate number of edges of that cell used by the loop. Answer key:lengths of horizontal segments in the marked rows,from top to bottom., Polygraph 5 Clues inside the loop indicate number of edges USED.And clues outside the loop indicate number of edges NOT USED by the loop.

4 CALCUDOKU Basic rule: Place numbers through (- in the examples) into the sqaure such that every row, column contains each number exactly once.numbers inside every region indicate the results of mathematical operations applied on all the numbers inside that region.operators are given next to the results.subtraction and division cannot be applied to more than numbers. Operatorless The operators are not given. 9 9 Liar Liar 5 Every clue is either one larger or one smaller than the given numbers.no operators are given (the example has operators)

5 RECTANGLES Basic rule:divide the grid into rectangles (squares are rectangles too)of various sizes.every rectangle must contain exactly one number.edges marked with 'x' cannot be used by the rectangles.rectangles must occupy all the cells of the grid Answer key:lengths of horizontal borders along the marked rows. answer :,0 Perimeters All clues are half the perimeter of the rectangle they belong to 5 7 Multiply and divide Every rectangle has exactly numbers,product of which gives the area of the rectangle.

6 SUDOKU Basic rule:fill in the grid so that each row, column and highlighted x box contains all the digits through 9. Answer key:the marked rows and/or columns,in that order. Answer: 5,5 Shape sudoku 5 All occurences of each shape outlined in bold(rotated/mirrored)must contain the same set of letters (the sets can be same for different shapes) Isosudoku 5 Every horizontal row,9-cell diagonal must contain all digits from through 9.Shorter diagonals must have all different digits. 5 5

7 Recoverable 5 One digit is missing from every clue.find the missing digits and solve the puzzle. TAPA Basic rules: Paint some cells black to create a continuous wall. Number/s in a cell indicate the length of black cell blocks on its neighbouring cells. If there is more than one number in a cell, there must be at least one white cell between the black cell blocks. Painted cells cannot form a x square or larger. 8 NURIKABE Basic rules: Paint some cells black to create a continuous wall of connected cells.white cell groups should form islands which can touch only diagonally. Every island must have exactly one clue,which indicates the area of that island. True-false. 9 HEYAWAKE Basic rule:blacken some cells so that all remaining white squares must be interconnected. Black cell cannot touch each other by their sides, but they can diagonally. Sequences of horizontal or vertical white cells must not belong to more than two different sectors. Numbers in some sectors indicate how many black cells the sector itself contains Answer key: number of blackened cells in each row. Numberless 9 No numbers are given.arrows point to rooms that have more black cells than the room from which the arrow starts.
