However, the word row in the answer key extraction refers to strictly horizontal rows, that alternate going up and down the diagonal rows.. oomerangs ( points) Divide the grid into boomerangs, each containing exactly one dot. boomerang consists of a center cell and two legs of equal length coming off the center cell at a 0-degree angle along two different rows (or a row and a column). 4 6. Japanese Sums ( points) Place a digit from the specified list into some cells so that no digit appears more than once in each diagonal row or column. ells may remain empty. Numbers outside the grid indicate all sums of continuous groups of digits (including sums of a single digit) along that diagonal row or column. These groups are separated by empty cells. Each pill has a different value (number of dots inside the pill), as indicated to the right of the grid. 7 9. Hexiom (6 points) Place the indicated set of dots in the grid. Each dot has a number that indicates the number of other dots adjacent to it. Some dots may already be placed in the grid. (X is the number of cells in the longest row.) Each number represents a skyscraper of its respective height. The numbers outside the grid indicate how many skyscrapers can be seen in the respective diagonal row or column from the respective direction; smaller skyscrapers are hidden behind higher ones.
