5 Features and Benefits Micro Fibre used in the lining at the heel has been abrasion tested to 200,000 flexes. Most shoes use basic mesh that is easily worn away. Toe cap is covered with a tapered rubber and then additional foam cushioning is used so it cannot be felt from inside the shoe. All leathers are European sourced and of premium quality. The PU used in midsoles and outsoles is premium quality and free from air bubbles. This gives greater comfort to the wearer and greater overall stability & longevity to the shoe. All eyelets are rounded to prevent tearing the laces and they are all nickel free. All leather uppers feature reinforcement to give the shoe better stability and retain it s shape for longer. The anti-static properties are built into the shoe and will last for the lifetime of the shoe. Some cheaper anti-static shoes simply use a strip in the insole, and when the insole is removed the shoe no longer has anti-static properties. All insoles are breathable and absorbent, wicking perspiration away from the foot for greater comfort. All shoes feature a stability plate in the sole of the shoe which ensures the shoe flexes at the correct point. This is an important comfort feature. Plastic heel counters are used inside the shoe to give it extra stability. Often heel counters are made from cheap materials that break down easily.
