2 THE COMPANY COMPANY HISTORY Since its foundation in 2003, Trim GmbH has established itself worldwide as a reliable partner in the automotive, aeronautical and train industries. In April 2014, our company headquarters moved to Grossmehring by Ingolstadt. Today, Trim GmbH is represented in two locations, with a combined total of 1000 m² of floor space. We have numerous high-tech machines at our disposal, including specialised sewing machines, airbag sewing machines, digitalisation, stencil plotters, multi-function cutters for CNCcontrolled cutting and the newest 3D printers, all of which guarantees exactly the results you require. Our CNC cutting system aims to provide maximum productivity with the best-possible quality. The adaptive tool technology can be individually and precisely adapted for any material, thereby always achieving a perfect cut. Scars and marks in the leather can be instantly identified and dealt with using the built-in camera system. Our modern, high-performance precision cutters can work with various different materials, inculding covers, upholstry fabric, leather, foam, foils, fleece, rubber, composites, plastics, tarpaulin, felt, cardboard and more. Over the last few years, upholstery job training has become an important topic during production runs. Emphasis is placed on the optimization of the start-up process in order to achieve a high level of quality, as well as quantity, in product manufacture. 7 CONTACT Our STRATASYS 3D printer enables us to manufacture any type of panel or part in various colours in ABSplus, either as prototypes or as small batches. ABSplus offers the widest possible range of colours: ivory, white, black, dark grey, red, blue, olive green and fluorescent yellow, as well as the option of custom colours. Parts which have been 3D printed in this material are always mechanically robust and stable. Because ABSplus can be used in combination with a self-removing support material, we can create intricate shades of colour as well as deep internal imprints all without the need for extra effort.
