Our team is able to carefully design, plan and execute drilling programs based on client requirements. Rig time is costly, and delays due to cementing problems can impact the profitability of a drilling operation. C&J Energy Services provides a wide range of cementing services, delivered on-time and with the service quality, efficiency and safety you have come to expect from C&J. As one of the largest drilling, completion and production services companies in North America, we have the expertise, facilities, and equipment to provide quality service to our customers, while offering the flexibility to adjust to wellsite challenges. Our cementing best practices help ensure zonal isolation. We have the experience to efficiently and effectively meet zonal isolation challenges in both conventional and unconventional operations, horizontal wellbores and high-pressure, high-temperature cementing. Our advanced cementing systems are engineered and tested to achieve the fluid loss, free fluid, thickening time and compressive strength requirements of our customer. C&J s advanced cementing simulation software ensures fluid rheology and density hierarchies are engineered to optimize mud removal and achieve zonal isolation. We provide a variety of quality cementing products and additives, and our cost-effective cement blends and slurry systems are designed to individual customer specifications and requirements. 5 FRACTURING FRACTURING Fracturing is a well stimulation technique used in shale reservoirs that forces water, chemicals and proppant into the formation. The mix is applied under high pressure to penetrate cracks and open or fracture new flow channels, allowing hydrocarbons to flow back into the well. C&J s fracturing services are provided by expert engineers and trained, experienced crews using modern, reliable equipment, working quickly and efficiently to increase the number of fracturing stages completed in a day. Our pre-job analysis includes job site layout, planning and testing for optimal well design. Our on-site design engineers configure and implement targeted pumping configurations to better meet the challenges of a given well, which results in less redundant pumping capacity. Our services allow customers to complete projects quickly and safely across a wide spectrum of pressures, without having to kill or shut in their wells. C&J operates and maintains the most technically enhanced coiled tubing units, capable of handling heavy-duty jobs in today s most challenging operating environments in basins throughout North America. In close collaboration with our customers, our onsite engineers will develop a detailed project plan to determine the best approach to keep the project on time and on budget. 7 WIRELINE WIRELINE When customers need a wireline crew to acquire logging data and perform efficient perforating operations that will allow fracturing operations to start as soon as possible, C&J s Casedhole Solutions is ready to respond. With the second largest wireline fleet in the industry, we operate in every basin in the U.S. Our experienced crews work closely with customers to gather accurate data that helps to optimize the recovery from a field. We also provide wireline pump-down operations and well integrity tests. High-quality perforating, pressure pumping and testing operations ensure an effective and timely completion. Our customized, fit-forpurpose equipment and tools, developed by C&J s in-house Research & Technology group in collaboration with our field services teams, enable us to better meet the challenges of our customers projects. As an integrated completions services provider, Casedhole Solutions dovetails with C&J s fracturing and coiled tubing crews to ensure effective pre-job planning and operations that drive a high level of efficiency. Wireline Logging We offer an array of cased-hole logging services, from collar logs to radial cement bond logs. 8 PUMPING PUMPING C&J s Casedhole Solutions service line offers oil and gas operators the most efficient pressure pumping services, delivered by a fleet of new, highly engineered tractor-trailer-mounted pumping units. These units are self-charging, which eliminates the need for thirdparty transfer pumps on location. Pressure pumping services are frequently mobilized in conjunction with our wireline operations to provide customers with a seamless pumpdown service for horizontal multi-stage fracturing operations. 9 RIG SERVICES RIG SERVICES To help optimize the productive life of an oil or gas well, C&J operates a diversified fleet of more than 550 workover and well servicing rigs in every important oil and gas area in the U.S. and Canada. Designed specifically to extend production from existing wells, our rigs, which range from 200 to 900 horsepower, are utilized for the repair and maintenance of oil and gas wells, the completion of new wells and in shallow drilling operations. C&J also performs recompletion and redrilling operations and swabbing services, and, at the end of a well s life, plugging and abandonment. We offer a wide range of rig service applications, including further drilling to complete a new producing reservoir, cleaning out and recompleting a well if production has declined and repairing leaks or converting a producing well to an injector for secondary or enhanced recovery projects. Our auxiliary offerings include power swivels, pumps, mud tanks, generator sets, blowout prevention equipment, frac tanks and a range of auxiliary equipment in many types and sizes required for maintenance, workover and completion applications. 10 FLUIDS MANAGEMENT FLUIDS MANAGEMENT Fluids handling is an essential part of drilling and completion operations. C&J provides a full range of fluid services, including the manufacturing, transportation and disposal of various fluids used in the drilling, completion and workover operations of oil and gas wells. We have more than 5,100 portable tanks and 1,400 truck-and-trailer combinations ready to be deployed across the U.S. for the storage and transport of fluids. FLUIDS MANUFACTURING AND DISPOSAL Using custom-designed trailer-mounted units and a fleet of full-service vacuum/kill trucks, we provide fast, efficient blending and transport of workover and completion fluids to the wellsite. C&J s fluids expertise also extends to constructing and operating both wastewater wells and disposal wells for heavy brine. FLUIDS AND MATERIALS TRANSPORT C&J s large-capacity tanker trailers are designed for over-the-road and off-road water transport. We handle bulk transportation of sand and rock in certain locations. Our tanker trailers transfer blended fluids from off-site blending stations to fracturing tanks on location. We also have a fleet of specialized tractor/trailers to transport condensate. FLUIDS STORAGE C&J deploys and manages a large fleet of portable tanks used to safely store fluids used in the drilling, completion and production cycle. These services complement our comprehensive suite of well construction and completion services available in prominent shale basins across the U.S. and Canada. 12 RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY C&J s Research & Technology Center opened November 2013 and includes 95,000 square feet of research, manufacturing and office space. The center supports and enhances C&J Energy Services rapidly growing portfolio of products and services to the energy industry, including well construction, well completions and well services. At the center, specialists and engineers collaborate to develop innovative solutions to our customers wellsite challenges. The center s capabilities allow C&J to speed up the product development process, including prototyping, qualifying and testing, to bring products and technological enhancements to the field in a shorter time than our competitors. Using field and customer input, our process allows us to manufacture a large portion of our tools in-house and enables us to deliver subsequent production improvements as well as significant cost savings to our customers. This highly efficient, lean product development capability strengthens C&J s position as a technology leader and enables C&J to expand its product offerings, increase service excellence and reduce costs to respond nimbly to the market and the field.
