The mission of the network is to improve the capacity of the Technology Institutes for the launching of innovation, development and research projects; to provide advanced technology services and to promote the diffusion of a technology culture. The purpose of the network is to strengthen, through the support of the technology Institutes, the technological processes within the enterprises. Members and governance - The REDIT network links the 16 Technology Institutes of the Valencia Community. - The 16 Technology Institutes are: - AIDICO: Institute of Construction Technology - AIDIMA: Institute of Furniture and Related Products Technology (wood, packaging and similar) - AIDO: Institute of Optical Technology (colour and image) - AIJU: Institute of Toy Technology - AIMME: Institute of Metal Mechanics Technology - AIMPLAS: Institute of Plastics Technology - AINIA: Institute of Food Cult ivation Technology - AITEM: Institute of Business Technology - AITEX: Institute of Textile Technology - ALICER: Institute of Ceramic Design Technology - IBV: Institute of Biomechanics Technology - INESCOP: Institute of Shoe and Related Products Technology - ITC -AICE: Institute of Ceramic Technology - ITE: Institute of Electrical Technology - ITENE: Institute of Containers, Packing, Transport and Logistics Technology, - ITI: Institute of Computer Technology The Technology Institutes were created by the entrepreneur initiative and the support of Valencia government and of sectoral entrepreneurial associations. These Technology Institutes are generally located nearby the enterprises while the technical unit is situated in other areas. The Technology Institutes are private, associations and their members are enterprises (an average of associated), 70% of them coming from the region of Valencia and the majority are micro and small enterprises 1
