1 Engineering Design Workshop Summer 2015 Students in this hands-on, self-motivated class will work in small teams to design, build, and test projects that blend engineering, art, and science. High school students will get to use some technology, tools and materials that MIT students and engineers use. The class builds on students math and science abilities and will use basic principles of engineering, problem solving, and design. Mini-Lessons on interesting topics will add to the project-based experience. While at MIT, students will also have opportunities to see many examples of engineering, art, and science at work.
