Turkish-German Innovation Summit December 6th 7th, 2016 CEOs Message by Işınay Kemmler, Founder & CEO Global Success Club This year the Global Success Club is proud to host the 2nd Turkish-German Innovation Summit in the beautiful country of Turkey. The 1st Turkish-German Innovation Summit we organized was held in Frankfurt, Germany, as a platform for innovation opportunities between the two countries. With generous support of the German Federal Ministry of Education, we now have the honor organizing the event in Turkey s own Istanbul, a city reaching out and bridging the gap between Europe and Asia. It is our hope that this event will help to highlight the importance of collaborative partnerships between two countries who have such a rich history in business relations. Despite turbulent times, we have chosen Istanbul for our second Summit, because we believe that these relationships should be cherished and held dear. We should not stop trying to strengthen the bonds that have held for so many years and are mutually beneficial for both countries. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said: There is a lot that binds Germany to Turkey and even if we have a difference of opinion on an individual matter, the breadth of our links, our friendship, our strategic ties, is great. We have organized this event so that executives from each country can join together in a forum for teaching and learning about various business topics as well as the potential opportunities of each individual s home land. It is our opinion that both countries have a great deal to learn from one another. A transnational cooperation between perfectly complementary German and Turkish companies brings decisive competitive advantages out of new innovations for both sides.
