John Morris, born 1 September 1718 [1], died 6 June 1722 [1,5]. ii. Anne Morris, born 29 October 1720 in Borris-in-Ossory [1], died 2 May 1804 in Ballymeelish [8,5]. She married Barker Thacker on 7 August 1741 in Mondrehid [9]. He was born on 20 June 1715 in Baltiboys [9]. He died on 28 November 1793 in Baltiboys [9,5]. They had issue as follows: a. She married firstly Joseph Hanks on 6 December 1753 in Mondrehid [60] and secondly William Watters on 17 October 1762 [61]. viii. Hannah Morris, born 23 February 1732/33[1]. She was disowned for marrying out in 1751[14]. ix. Bartholomew Morris, born 1 September 1734[1], died 30 September 1741[10]. x. Elizabeth Morris, born 10 September 1736[1], died 1 August 1737[10]. xi. Thomas Morris, born 11 August 1738[1], died 1 August 1790[1]. He married Mary Hanks, daughter of Jeremiah Hanks and Mary Jellico on 23 June 1760 in Birr [15]. She was
2 born on 23 May 1736[16, 17]. She died on 21 March 1802 in Borris-in-Ossory [15, 5]. They had issue as follows: a. William Morris, born 6 September 1762 in Borris-in-Ossory [17], died 29 July 1825 in Mountrath [5]. He married Hannah Maria Gatchell, daughter of Nathaniel Gatchell and Elizabeth Simmons, on 3 August 1788 in Mountrath [18]. She was born on 4 July 1759 in Mountrath [42]. She died on 23 December 1815 in Mountrath [5]. They had issue as follows: I. Isaac Morris, born 11 January 1791 in Mountrath [18, 17]. II. William Morris, born 26 September 1792 in Mountrath [18, 17], died 28 November 1792 in Mountrath [18, 5]. III. Thomas Morris, born 10 May 1789 in Mountrath [18], died 13 Jan 1868 in Leeds [43]. He married firstly Martha Lawton who died on 18 June 1838 in Leeds [53]. He married secondly Anne Hoare in 1841 in Otley, Yorkshire [54]. Thomas & Martha had issue as follows: A. Susanna Maria Morris, died 31 January1852 in Gildersome,Yorkshire, aged 31 [56]. B. Elizabeth Morris, born 1823 in Leeds [57], died 1887 in Leeds aged 64 [57]. She married George Tatham, widower of her cousin Hannah Maria Walker (see below), on 2 May 1855 in Hunslet, Yorkshire [58, 59]. IV. Elizabeth Morris, born 5 January 1795 in Mountrath[18], died 11 May 1848 in Leeds[44]. She married Robert Walker on 19 June 1818 in Dublin [41, 45, 3]. He was born on 3 May 1796[41]. He died on 4 August 1867 in Leeds [47]. They had issue as follows: A. Joseph Walker [41]. B. Hannah Maria Walker, died 14 August 1852 in Leeds [48]. She married George Tatham on 22 October 1845 in Leeds [41, 49]. C. William Walker. He married Lucy Ellis on 15 September 1847 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire [41, 50]. D. Henry Walker [41]. E. Edward Walker married Celia Fennell on 20 April 1853 in Caher [51, 52]. b. Jeremiah Morris, born 24 November 1763 in Borris-in-Ossory [17], died 25 November 1807 in Limerick [19]. c. Thomas Morris, born 29 July 1766 in Borris-in-Ossory [17], died 5 August 1834 in Waterford [20]. He married Mary Anne Hutchinson on 14 January 1810 in Carlow [3]. d. Joseph Morris, born 2 March 1769 in Borris-in-Ossory [17], died 30 April 1852 in Dublin [21, 22]. He married Harriet Clibborn on 21 October e. Bartholomew Morris, born 30 March 1772 in Borris-in-Ossory, died on 22 December 1846 in Dublin [23]. He was disowned for marrying out in 1811[24]. He and his wife Margaret had issue as follows: I. Mary Elizabeth Morris, born c. 1812[32], died 28 November 1869 in Dublin [33]. II. Thomas Morris, born c. 1813[34], died 27 January 1815 in Dublin [35]. III. Bartholomew Morris, born c. 1815[36], died 18 March 1835 in Dublin [37]. IV. Margaret Teresa Morris, born c in Dublin [38], died 6 February 1904 in Dublin [39]. f. Joshua Morris, born 14 March 1774 in Borris-in-Ossory [25, 17], died 22 August 1808 in Mountrath[25, 5]. He married Susanna Pim on 21 November 1805 in Mountrath [25]. She was born on 1 July 1779[25].
