2 If you have any question while making these doll or found mistake in this pattern, please feel free to me at See more pictures of my amigurumi at Feel free to join my group at Materials: Fuzzy yarn, color of your choice for head and body Acrylic yarn, color of your choice for ears, arms and legs Crochet hooks suitable for the yarn you choose to obtain gauge size (I used 5.5 mm. and 1.6 mm. size crochet hooks) 12 mm. plastic eyes ( I used black hemisphere buttons) Polymer fiberfill Embroidery floss and tapestry needle Sewing needle and white thread Big size sewing needle for fuzzy yarn Cream or nude shade felt fabric for muzzle and other color for ears or foots. Powdered blush (optional) Other material for decorate; such as ribbon, bow, flower, trim etc. (Optional) Finished Size: Approximately 8 tall in sitting position Your finished doll might finish in bigger or smaller than mine depending on your tension and the yarn you use. Gauges: Because of the yarn I used differ from the yarn in your country, this gauge sizes will help you find the yarn suitable to make these little baby. (I asked my friend from the US. She used Bernat Baby Boucle or any in Boucle family. It s very similar to the yarn I use) For head and body: 6 sc = 2 inch; 6 sc rows = 2 inch For other parts: 8 sc = 1 inch; 8 sc rows = 1 inch Abbreviation I use: R = Round ch = chain sc = single crochet inc = increase (2sc in next stitch) dec = decrease ( 2sc off together) sl st = slip stitch(es) * = repeat directions between * and * as many as indicated I start crochet by making two rings as in Japanese style. It makes the starting hole tight and secure. You can start in whichever way you feel comfortable. Note 1: Work in continuous spiral round; do not join rounds. Mark first stitch of each round. Note 2: This pattern does not include little toys seen in pictures. 2

3 INSTRUCTIONS The following pattern are using for all Baby Animals. Using fuzzy yarn for head and body Head R3 *sc 1, inc 1*, repeat 6 times (18 sts) R4 *sc 2, inc 1*, repeat 6 times (24 sts) R5 *sc 3, inc 1*, repeat 6 times (30 sts) R6 *sc 4, inc 1*, repeat 6 times (36 sts) R7-8 sc 36 R9 *sc 4, dec 1*, repeat 6 times (30 sts) R10 *sc 3, dec 1*, repeat 6 times (24 sts) If you use plastic eyes with safety backing, attach it at R8 or 9; then continue. R11 *sc 2, dec 1*, repeat 6 times (18 sts) R12 *sc 1, dec 1*, repeat 6 times (12 sts) Fasten off and stuff as much as you want to make the head in round shape ***Follow how to make muzzle instruction on page.*** Note: To make lamb; cut oval felt for lamb face. Cut 2 little holes for eyes and embroider mouth between them. Then attach eyes through cut holes. Body R3 *sc 3, inc 1*, repeat 3 times (15 sts) R4-5 sc 15 R6 *sc 3, dec 1*, repeat 3 times (12 sts) R7-8 sc 12 Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing and stuff with polyfill. Set a side. Using acrylic yarn for other parts Legs R3 *sc 1, inc 1*, repeat 6 times (18 sts) R4 *sc 2, inc 1*, repeat 6 times (24 sts) R5-7 sc 24 R8 sc 6, dec 6, sc 6 (18 sts) R9 sc 3, dec 6, sc 3 (12 sts) R10-16 sc 12 Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing. Stuff leg, cut felt as animal track and sew to animal foot as show in picture. 3

4 Arms R1 Ch 1, 5 sc in rings, pull starting rings closed R2-11 inc 5 (10 sts) Fasten off, stuff a little, leave long tail and sew to body. Kitten Ear R2 sc 6 R3 inc 6 (12 sts) R4 sc 12 R5 *sc 3, inc 1* repeat 3 times (15 sts) R6 sc 15 Fasten off, leave long tail, don t stuff and sew to head. Kitten tail R1 Ch 1, 5 sc in rings, pull starting rings closed R2-10 or about 3 inch sc5 4

Don t stuff, flatten it and sew to head. Puppy Tail Follow kitten tail instruction for about 2 inch long. 5

6 . Lamb Ear R3-8 sc 12 R9 sc 10, dec 1 (11 sts) R10 sc 11 R11 sc 9, dec 1 (10 sts) Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing. Don t stuff, flatten it and sew to head 6

7 Bunny Ear R3 *sc 1, inc 1*, repeat 6 times (18 sts) R4-10 sc 18 R11 *sc 7, dec 1* repeat (16 sts) R12-13 sc 16 R14 *sc 6, dec 1* repeat (14 sts) R15-16 sc 14 R17 *sc 5, dec 1* repeat (12 sts) Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing. Cut felt as bunny ear shape and sew to ear. Don t stuff, flatten it and sew to head. 7

8 How to make muzzle 1. Cut round cream felt about 1.5 inch diameter 2. Fold in half 2 times to find center point. Mark it using fabric marker. 3. Embroider nose and mouth as shown; in the center 4. Sew felt edge as little as possible using white thread 8

9 5. Pull thread to make felt as yoyo. Tie it with other end to secure. Do not cut thread 6. Stuff muzzle using hemostat to help 7. Position muzzle to head using pins to help 8. Sew to head by ladder stitch using thread from muzzle 9

10 If you use black button eyes as mine, you can attach it after sewing muzzle. To finish Baby Animals: 1. Sew ears to head after done with muzzle and eyes. Weave in end at animal neck and tie tails from both ears here. 2. Sew body to head, using long tail from body 3. Sew arms, legs and tail to body. 4. Give your amigurumi rosy pink cheeks by applying some powdered blush on their cheeks. Decorate them with ribbon, felt bib, bow or clothes as you want. Cuddle and hug them for care. Congratulations!
