8 He is onway to Davos from Zurich where he reached this evening. The Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with the President of Swiss Confederation, Alain Berset tonight. Mr Modi will deliver the keynote address at the plenary session tomorrow, the first day of the four-day long annual summit at Davos.

The Indian presence is set to be the largest ever with Union ministers, two chief ministers, several top government officials and over 100 CEOs participating. India is hosting the welcome reception at the World Economic Forum.

Indian cuisine including chai-samosa and several Gujarati dishes, will be served to the participants at the welcome reception. The official sessions at WEF will also have special India-Focused discussions including one on India s role in the world.

12 Defence Ministry Nirmala Sitharaman has said that India's Act East policy is really taking shape and the presence of ten ASEAN leaders during the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi will definitely showcase that policy. She visited to the NCC Republic Day Camp at Delhi Cantonment. Leaders of all the ten ASEAN member countries will be guests of honour at the ceremonial parade at Rajpath on Friday.
