Raghubar Das is organising the maiden Momentum Jharkhand Global Investors Summit on February 2017 in Ranchi. This initiative is being done in a bid to boost the Make in India initiative of Hon ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, and to ripen high value investment opportunities in the state. 5 JHARKHAND AT A GLANCE Jharkhand, the 28 th state of the Indian Union was brought into existence on November 15, 2000 by the Bihar Reorganization Act. The state has a total geographical area of Lakh Hectares. Jharkhand is famous for its rich mineral resources such as Uranium, mica, bauxite, granite, gold, silver, graphite, magnetite, coal, iron, copper etc. Jharkhand is a young state with a significant proportion of youth population. The age group between 16 to 25 years and 26 to 60 years constitutes close to 18% and 38% respectively of the total population of the state.
