The principle functional advantage of the Zen of Norway collection, which sets apart this furniture from the regular one and allows your body to take a position of exceptional comfort, is that once you are sat down, you can control your posture - lean back partially or completely or just return to your initial position - with absolute easiness. Technologies implemented in fabrication of the seats make it possible to reconfigure and adjust your seat to match curves of your back, which offers especial comfort to your body when seated. At the neck level by a special rod system the seat is linked with a driving gear, which every time you lean backward moves together with a seat backrest and ensures unequalled ease and comfort of your body. SWIVEL CHAIRS AND FOOTSTOOLS In our recliners not only seat height can be adjusted but the seat can swivel in both directions as well. When seated, you can easily turn the recliner to any side at any angle up to 360 degrees, a slight push-off by your feet would be sufficient to achieve this. Footstool is an unexceptionable furniture item for those who would like to stretch out one s tired legs. It can be easily located in any place of your choice, and it also can be used as an additional seat in case of necessity. We recommend that you purchase a footstool together with a chair. Both items having similar finishing and color would make a nice set. We can offer you seats of two sizes: wider and higher models are EDEN, MEDITATION, NIRVANA, ODEON, PULLMAN, while models COSTA, FLIGHT, LOFT, LOUNGE, MANHATTAN, SQUARE, and ZENITH are of standard size. SOFAS Each seat of a triple-seat or double-seat reclining sofa function independently from each other and this is why each seated person is capable of selecting a most comfortable position that meets needs of his or her body without disturbing others. If you intend to purchase only sofa or recliner we would recommend you to buy an ottoman as well. 16 Strength and comfortness of the Zen of Norway furniture is achieved due to the purposely engineered technical solutions. Each seat is fixed to a metal frame, which allows every individual seat to move independently from others. Frame of the seat is coated with a layer of high resilience foam and the seat, no matter how frequently used, retains its original shape and doesn t sag. In order to ensure maximal level of comfort and convenience, mobile metal frames and zigzag-type springs have been employed in the seat structure. Headrest at the neck level is provided with a mover mechanism, which allows your body to ease into the most relaxing position just by the slightest twist of your body. LOFT and LOUNGE models are fitted with an adjustable headrest. In our products we use natural leather only. This approach guarantees high-quality and service life to our furniture, however, at client s request textile finishing can be applied in the custom-made furniture as well. Currently the following 6 tone colors of wood finishing elements are available: Redwood, Palisander, Cherry, Wenge, Beech, and Black. Decorative elements of NIRVANA woody are available in solid oak wood, lacquered. 16

17 Taking care of your furniture If you want your furniture to have a long service life, it is recommended that the below furniture use and care taking procedures are complied with. Care of leather surfaces Since leather is a living organism, leather color in some items can insignificantly vary. Difference in the leather surface structure, tiny and deep scratches or insect bites, some graininess occurring after item fabrication are considered to be properties of natural leather. In the course of long use of the furniture, shading of leather and its shining can change, and some slack of leather finish can be seen, which are specificity of natural leather. New furniture should be impregnated with leather protection cream. This cream would soak into leather and ensure its protection against scratches and soiling. Protective cream shall be applied two or three times a year. In order to prevent loosing of color, drying-out of leather and spotting, the following steps shall be undertaken: keep the furniture away from exposure to direct sunlight and moisture, keep the furniture away from heating and ventilation appliances, avoid scratching the furniture, soiled areas and grease spots that occur during usage of the furniture shall be cleaned on the regular basis, for cleaning use only special cleaners intended for care taking of leather surfaces. If water or any other liquid happens on the furniture, wipe it immediately using dry cotton cloth and don t let the liquid to soak into leather and wet spot to dry out. If liquid did soak into leather to dry out the wet stain you may use a hair dryer. If fat, grease or oil happens on leather surface soak in the dripping immediately using napkin or soft cotton cloth, don t rub. For complete removal of grease stain use water and laundry soap solution. This solution can also be used for cleaning of heavily stained leather furniture, if special leather care products are not close at hand. Taking care of mechanical parts Several times per year remove dust from the plastic ring of a chair to ensure its smooth rotation, if required use lean oil with Teflon that will make rotation of the swivel chair for long. Sliding mechanism under the seat shall be kept clean. Any accumulating dust shall be cleaned using soft cloth. Wood ring of a swivel chair, handholds and footstool s components shall be cleaned using soft cloth. From time to time use wood polish and other restoratives to process wooden surfaces.
