Form is important, but function is paramount in our designs. High quality undermount drawer slides provide ease of use along with attractive forged pulls and door handles. Zacappa has a personal affiliation with Gary. In 2007 his family adopted a little boy from Zacappa, a little town in Guatemala. 23 Who are we? Who Are We? Gary Keener founded G Keener & Co. in He has a Master s degree in instruction and has spent his lifetime pursuing his love of woodworking. He spent three years teaching woodworking and then apprenticed under M.T. Maxwell in Bedford, Virginia. Gary has grown over the years and his team of skilled craftsman brings decades of woodworking experience. The community has recognized Gary s work. His furniture can be found at Frank Lloyd Wright s The Westcott House. He has received Best of Show awards for individual pieces as well as whole collections. As a matter of fact, since 2004, he has earned 11 Best of Show awards from all over the country at some the finest exhibits of handcrafted furniture in the United States. G.
