2 Olio Olio refers to the process of selecting, editing, and piecing together separate sections of something to form a continuous whole. The Olio collection weaves together various design elements into a sophisticated and somewhat dressy grouping of traditional case pieces that are not specifically tied to any one historical time period or region. Chippendale-inspired fretwork, break-front forms, a rice-carved bed form that is unexpectedly executed with ribbon-inspired carvings, finely detailed beading, small gadroon carved molding, antiqued mirror glass, selected stone tops, and short-grain bordered veneer faces are all design elements that come together in this collection. drexelheritage.com 1

DH Shield is an optional catalyzed lacquer topcoat which may be applied to the tops of many Drexel Heritage products. This material will provide increased durability and enhanced protection on wood finish and nearly all painted tops against moisture, common household products, as well as most scratches and rub marks. Since only the top of the furniture will be re-coated with the hard topcoat there may be slight variation between the top and vertical surfaces of the furniture. Every effort will be made to match the original sheen of the furniture as closely as possible.
