Installer is responsible for damage (i.e. drilling into a wiring harness, battery, fuel tank etc.). A second installer may be helpful with parts of this installation.

M10 x 65 Hex Bolts l (44 ea.) M10 Washers m (22 ea.) M10 Lock Nuts Installation Preparation 1. Remove the Canopy from vehicle. Retain all hardware. 2. Remove the Rear Top Struts by removing the Hex Bolts (some vehicles only have (1) hex bolt per side) from inside the Sweater Basket/SAM Assembly. Discard the (2) Rear Struts. Retain the mounting hardware. 3. Remove the Sweater Basket/ SAM Assembly by removing the (4) TORX Drive Bolts in the front and rear of the Assembly. Remove the Seat Back from the Sweater Basket/SAM Assembly. Discard the Sweater Basket/SAM Assembly. Retain the Seat Back and hardware. Note: Remove the Front Seat Back TORX Bolts by hand. Do not use air or electric impact tools as it will strip the Captured Nut in the wood backing and the seat will have to be Page 2

3 repaired or replaced. 4. Remove the Mounting Hardware securing the Canopy Support Brackets found under the Sweater Basket Assembly. Discard Canopy Support Brackets. Vertical Seat Platform Support Brackets 1. Place the Vertical Seat Platform Support Brackets in the bagwell area. The mounting holes will line up with the holes in the rear outer positions of the bagwell area. When aligned properly, the Vertical Supports will be closer to the front of the cart and the mounting tabs towards the rear. 2. Install the Vertical Support Brackets using (2) M10 x 40 Hex Bolts, (4) M10 Washers and (2) M10 Lock Nuts. Seat Platform Installation 1. Place the Seat Platform on the rear of the cart. The stationary side of the Seat Platform should be closest to the front of the cart. The Platform should be open. 2. Align the mounting holes in the Seat Platform with the existing rear mounting holes on the cart that were used for the Sweater Basket/ SAM Assembly. Rest the rear of the Platform securely on the Vertical Seat Platform Support Brackets. Page 3

4 3. Fasten the Seat Platform to the rear of the cart reusing the Original Hardware that was removed from the Sweater Basket/SAM Assembly. 4. Secure the rear of the Seat Platform to the Vertical Seat Platform Support Brackets using (2) M10 x 25 Hex Bolts, (4) M10 Washers and (2) M10 Lock Nuts. Foot Plate Installation 1. Align the mounting holes on the Foot Plate mounting tabs to the mounting holes on the Vertical Seat Platform Support Brackets. 2. Attach the Foot Plate to the Vertical Seat Platform Support Brackets using (2) M10 x 25 Hex Bolts, (4) M10 Washers and (2) M10 Lock Nuts. Handrail Installation 1. Attach one Handrail to the Seat Platform Frame using (2) M10 x 45 Phillips Head Bolts, (4) M10 Washers and (2) M10 Lock Nuts. Hand tighten. Page 4

5 2. Mount the Handrail to the side of the Foot Plate using (1) M10 x 65 Hex Bolt, (2) M10 Washers and (1) M10 Lock Nut. Hand tighten. 3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the opposite Handrail. Seat Back Support Frame and Front Seat Box Plate Installation 1. Identify the Front Seat Box Plate. Align it so the lip is facing towards the front of the cart. The mounting holes should align with the mounting holes on the sides of the Handrails. 2. Identify the Seat Back Support Frame. Place it in front of the Front Seat Box Plate. The mounting holes will align with the same mounting holes on the Handrails. 3. Using (4) M10 x 60 Hex Bolts, (8) M10 Washers and (4) M10 Lock Nuts, install the Seat Back Support Frame to the Front Seat Box Plate and the sides of the Handrails. Hand tighten. 4. Using a chisel, remove the Sweater Basket Assembly Pins that were under the original Canopy Support Brackets. 5. If Top Struts are required, slide the New Top Struts (TOP-0106) through the Access Panel holes until the mounting holes line up with those on the Seat Back Support Frame. 6. Identify the Forward Strut Brackets. The longer legs will cover the area where the Pins were located. The shorter legs will rest against the Top Struts. The mounting holes will align. 7. Install the New Top Struts and Forward Strut Brackets using (2) M10 x 60 Hex Bolts, (2) M10 x 65 Hex Bolts, (8) M10 Washers and (4) M10 Lock Nuts. Use the Original Hardware for the remaining holes in the Forward Strut Brackets. Page 5

6 8. Go over the Seat Box Kit and fully tighten any loose hardware. Front and Rear Seat Back Installation 1. Identify the Seat Back Mounting Brackets. Position them on the Seat Back Support Frame so the bent plates face the front of the cart. Align the mounting holes with those on the Seat Back Support Frame. 2. Attach the Seat Back Mounting Brackets to the Seat Back Support Frame using (2) M10 x 45 Hex Bolts, (4) M10 Washers and (2) M10 Lock Nuts. 3. Reinstall the original Front Seat Back on the New Seat Back Mounting Brackets using (2) M6 x 25 Hex Bolts and (2) M6 Washers. 4. Attach the Rear Facing Seat Back to the opposite side of the Seat Back Mounting Brackets using (4) M6 x 25 Hex Bolts and (4) M6 Washers. 5. Tighten any hardware left loose in this step. Page 6

7 Tailgate Installation Fasten the Tailgate to the rear of the Seat Platform using (2) M8 Binder Bolts and Mated Nuts. Rear Seat Bottom Cushion Installation 1. Place the Rear Seat Bottom Cushion on top of the Folded Seat Platform. The Seat Cushion should set firmly against the Cushion Rest and be centered on the Platform. 2. Flip the folding portion of the Platform up to a 90 angle while holding the cushion firmly in place. 3. Locate the (8) Seat Cushion mounting holes in the Seat Frame Deck. Using (8) M5.5 x 32 Flat Head Woodscrews, mount the Seat Bottom Cushion to the deck. Use caution not to over tighten the Woodscrews. They will strip the Wooden Seat Bottom. Page 7

8 Complete Installation 1. Go back over the new Seat Box Kit and fully tighten any loose mounting hardware. This completes the installation of your Precedent Seat Box Kit. Please enjoy safely! Page 8
