3 Edge & Edge Plus Frames Installation Instructions Covering frame models: Edge Edge Plus 1. General Points 1.1 These instructions are supplementary to, and must be read in conjunction with, the Installation Instructions (PM7 for Riva Studio/PM90 for Studio Duplex) supplied with the fire. These instructions detail the fitting of the frames that create the Edge and Edge Plus effects.. Securing the Frame to the Fire Note: The appliance casing and outer parts can get extremely hot. It is essential to observe the clearances to combustible material found in the Installation Instructions. The fitting of the frame requires people.1 To attach the frame: 1 Line up the frame with the holes on the appliance body, see Diagram 1. These frames must be installed prior to installation. In order to finish the installation the frame must be used in the construction of the chimney breast the Riva Studio is housed. The installation methods for the Edge and Edge Plus are detailed in the Riva Studio Installation Instructions sections & Before completing the installation ensure that provision is made for the connection of the following: - Electrical services (for fan installation) using the opening in the outside of the chimney breast for access. - The Outside Air kit (optional) - Convection Ducting kit (Optional) - The flue system. Secure the frame to the appliance body using the screws and nuts provided: Studio 500-5x Screws and Nuts Studio 1-5x Screws and nuts Studio - 6x Screws and nuts Studio 3-8x Screws and nuts Studio Duplex - 6x Screws and nuts, see Diagram..3 Build the studwork or brick masonry chimney breast to support the cassette, this should be done in conjunction with the section on installation of the Edge kit in the Riva Studio Cassette & Riva Studio Duplex Manuals for Installation and Use (Stovax No. PM7/PM90). 3

4 Edge & Edge Plus Frames Edge Plus (Only) The Edge Plus has a decorative frame that is fitted after the studwork or chimney breast has been finished to the edge of the Edge Plus frame..7 Replace the decorative frame and secure through the fixing holes. 5 PLEASE NOTE: The decorative frame of the Edge Plus kit is not designed to fit the standard Edge frame.. Insert the decorative frame into the Edge Plus frame, see Diagram 3. 3 Edge Plus Frame Decorative Frame.5 Ensure that the decorative frame fits flush to the wall and mark the fixing holes, see Diagram..6 Remove the decorative frame and drill the ø.5mm holes in the frame.

General Points 1.1 These instructions are supplementary to, and must be read in conjunction with, the Installation Instructions (PM7 for Riva Studio/PM90 for Studio Duplex) supplied with the fire. These instructions detail the fitting of the frame that create the Cool Wall effect. These frames must be installed prior to installation. In order to finish the installation the frame must be used in the construction of the chimney breast the Riva Studio is housed. The installation methods for the Cool Wall are detailed in the Riva Studio Installation Instructions sections & Before completing the installation ensure that provision is made for the connection of the following:. General Points 1.1 These instructions are supplementary to, and must be read in conjunction with, the Installation Instructions (PM7 for Riva Studio/PM90 for Studio Duplex) supplied with the fire. Glass Frame Note: Warning - the edges and corners of this product can be easily damaged during installation. Leave the protective edging on during handling and only remove when fully installed. Before fitting the frame please ensure correct fixing s are attached to the outer box flange. 1 Top Bottom. Securing the Frame to the Fire The fitting of the frame requires people.1 To attach the frame: Lower the bottom fixing angle onto the bottom s and then slot the top frame s under the s attached to the appliance flange, see Diagram Secure the frame to the s behind the top of the frame, see Diagram & 5. The door must be open or removed (see PM7) to tighten the screws. 1 See fixing kit lists for the number of s used for each model. 1. Fitting of the frame must be carried out after the appliance has been fully installed and commissioning tests completed. 7 User Instructions 1. Cleaning the Frame Only clean the frame when it is cold. The painted surfaces of the Flat Steel frame should be cleaned using a damp cloth and buffed with a lint free duster..
