TOOLS NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION - Phillips Screwdriver - T-5 Torx Driver - 3/32 Drill Bit - Unibit - T-30 Torx Driver - 1/4 Drill Bit - 1/16 Drill Bit - Punch Tool PARTS LIST IMAGES 1. 2 HOOD AND DASH DISASSEMBLY A B A. Remove hood to expose two T-30 screws and remove. B. Underneath passenger side fender remove (5) T-30 screws as shown on the pictures. C. From underneath passenger side fender remove (8) T-30 screws as shown on the pictures. (Repeat on opposite side) C D. Before removing fender you will need to remove fastening clip located under fender. D E. After all screws and clip have been removed you may remove fender to allow better access for mounting the speaker pod and MRB3 brain. E F. Remove T-30 screws to loosen the top dash panel for better access. F

3 SPEAKER POD INSTALLATION G H G. Cut out the INSIDE template (Driver/Passenger) along the cut line. Position the template on the inside foot well making sure to square up the template along the factory panel as shown in image. H. Using a scribe tool, mark the center of the 3 drill points illustrated on the template. I. Drill a pilot hole at the places just marked with a 1/8 drill bit. Then follow up by using a 1/4 drill bit for the three pod mounting holes. I J. Route the speaker cable attached to the pod through the small opening in the corner of the foot well screw point. J K. Position the speaker pod in place and line up with drilled mounting holes K L1 L2 L. With the provided M6 screws and washers, loosely mount the pod through the 2 drilled holes shown in image L1. Repeat for opposite side. NOTICE: Do not mount the third drilled hole until the fender is reinstalled at the end of the installation process. 3

4 MRB3 BRAIN INSTALLATION M N M. Cut out the MRB3 Brain template along the cut line. Position the template on the right hand side of pocket furthest to the edge, making sure to square up the template along the factory pocket. N. Using a scribing tool, mark the center of the 4 drill points illustrated on the template as shown in image N. O. Use a 3/16 bit to drill the holes for mounting the MBR3 brain. O P. With the provided (4) M5 screws, washers and nuts, mount the MRB3 brain. P

5 MRB3 CONTROLLER INSTALLATION Q Q Q. Remove the (4) T-25 torx screws and remove the dash cover. R. Cut out the INSIDE template along the cut line as well as the cut line for the MRB3 controller. Position the template on the front panel cover. Make sure the mounting holes line up and use a scribing tool mark the center of the 2 drill points. R S. Use a silver marker to mark the controller cut line and cut out the controller hole. S T. With a 1/16 bit, drill pilot holes for mounting the controller. T U U. Place factory panel back on the dash and line up factory mounting holes, use a marker to outline the hole for the MRB3 controller and cut the hole on the dash

6 MRB3 CONTROLLER INSTALLATION V W V. Use the provided screws to mount the MRB3 controller. W. Route the MRB3 wire through the hole on the dash. X X X. Re-install dash panel cover with the MRB3 controller

7 AUX-IN PLUG INSTALLATION Y Z Y. Open glove box. Z. Use a unibit to drill a 13/16 hole in the location shown above. A1 A1. Unscrew and remove the plastic nut from the back of the aux plug. From inside the glovebox, feed in the wire through hole. B1. Feed the plastic nut back through the back of the cable and screw back on to the plug. Hand tighten only. B

8 CABLE CONNECTIONS C1. From inside the dash, locate the factory 6 pin connector and plug in our provided power connector of MRB3, it will plug in vertically utilizing 1/3 of the connector. C1 D1. Connect DIN connector controller to MRB3 brain. D1 E1. Connect the power/ground wire. E1 F1. Connect the antenna. F1 G1 I1 G1. Connect the Aux-in plug. I1. Connect one end of the WP-HSE49 harness to the passenger speaker

9 CABLE CONNECTIONS J1 J1. Route the WP-HSE49 harness for the driver side pod along side factory wiring to make sure you stay away from any sharp or moving vehicle parts. Secure along the way using zip ties. K1 K1. Reinstall all of the factory panels and lastly loosely mount the third M6 screw into both speaker pods through the firewall and fender. Hand tighten all screws. LOOKING FOR MORE SOUND?
