1 Unit Stats The following pages include unit stats which were based on or inspired by: Games Workshop rules for Space Crusade and Warhammer 40,000 Codex Space Crusade by Usagi3 (Translated from French to English) MortiS-the-Lost and others on The Lost and The Damned Forum Merkur-Spiele at star-quest.de Imperium Battles by General Freyberg's Battle Group Personal whim After a quarter century of occasional consideration to gameplay and being exposed to bits and pieces of random information, the author of this document has been exposed to a considerable amount of random information pertaining to game play related to Warhammer 40,000, Space Crusade and similar games. This accumulation of information has likely influenced the following unit stats. If this information was sourced, inspired by or just very similar to yours, I apologize for not crediting you. These unit stats should be considered guidelines and were intended for a very simple rule set designed for easy play. It would be very easy to make any number of arguments regarding these stats. If you really don t like something, feel free to change what you don t like for your own personal use. If you feel strongly that a rule is flawed, please let me know.
2 Warhammer 40,000 Imperial Guard
3 Imperial Guard aka Astra Militarum Squad Version 1.0 Imperial Guard Trooper (generally Homo sapiens sapiens) Lasgun Imperial Guard Trooper with Plasma Gun Imperial Guard Trooper with Grenade Launcher Affects all targets in straight line. 4 Imperial Guard aka Astra Militarum Headquarters Version 1.0 Imperial Officer Officer Cards Officers have 3 Officer Cards. Whenever they are injured, they lose one card. When they run out of cards, they have only one life point remaining. Imperial Commissars Fighting spirit Life Points: Fighting spirit: All Humans adjacent to Commissar is inspired in a supernatural way. Add one white die to all ranged and melee attacks. Mastiffs and Ogryns and not motivated by Imperial Commissars. Imperial Psykers Psych burst Imperial Guard Trooper with Vox-caster Radioman If the Radioman becomes disabled, your unit loses their connection with higher commands and intelligence. Opponents of lost radioman may remove three of their own units from the play area. These can be added later to the play area as they wish.
5 Imperial Guard aka Astra Militarum Heavy Weapons Teams Version 1.0 Imperial Crew Served Rocket Launcher Imperial Crew Served Heavy Bolter Requires 2 crewmembers to move or operate 4 2 (front only) - 10 Imperial Crew Served Assault Cannon The 8 squares surrounding target square receive damage from highest die rolled. Requires 2 crewmembers to move or operate Requires 2 Crew Members. 4 2 (front only) - 10 Total number rolled may be split between any visible targets. Imperial Crew Served Las-Cannon Requires 2 Crew Members. 4 2 (front only) 3 Shots - 10 Shots may be Stacked, where all dice are rolled together for single target. Everything in Line Of Site in the 4 square area receives same damage. Imperial Crew Served Mortar Requires 2 crewmembers to move or operate The 8 squares surrounding target square receive damage from highest die rolled. This is primarily an indirect fire weapon and has limit use in a spacecraft. Limited range of 12 as a direct fire weapon. If one crew member of a Heavy Weapons team is disabled, the remaining member may move at half speed and shoot every other turn.
6 Imperial Guard aka Astra Militarum Squats (Homo sapiens rotundus) Squat (Homo sapiens rotundus) Warrior with Bolter Note: Squats were exterminated by a Tyranid Hive Fleet and rules were removed from newer versions of the 40K rules. Squat (Homo sapiens rotundus) Warrior with Autogun Squat (Homo sapiens rotundus) Warrior with Las-Gun 5 1 2shots Squat (Homo sapiens rotundus) Warrior with Heavy Bolter 5 2 shots can be combined into a single attack. Squat (Homo sapiens rotundus) Warrior Conversion Beam Explodes with contact with hard surface. Square adjacent to the center of impact receive -1 of the total damage at the impact site. All targets in line of fire also may receive damage at -1 of total damage per square away from impact square. The user firing a Conversion Beam weapon may also be damaged depending on how close it is to impact square. Squat (Homo sapiens rotundus) Warrior with Heavy Bolter Squat (Homo sapiens rotundus) Warrior with Heavy Plasma Gun Squat (Homo sapiens rotundus) Warrior with Multi-Melta Affects all targets in straight line. Single Roll for all Affects all targets in straight line. Single Roll for each target.

8 Imperial Guard aka Astra Militarum Non-Homo sapiens sapiens or Homo sapiens rotundus Ratling (Homo sapiens minimus) These little guy sometimes work with the Imperial Guard, but are often mistrusted. They do work as snipers and scouts for Squats. Imperial Cyber-Mastiff Cyber-Mastiffs can be biological animals or purely mechanical creations, though many are actually normal canines who have received some form of cybernetic upgrade from the Adeptus Mechanicus. They are often used as sniffer dogs of the Adeptus Arbites. These animals form their own squads, consisting of a paired Cyber-Mastiff and its handler. Ogryn (Homo sapiens gigantus) Life Points:
