I think these books are easy to read since there is not a lot to read on one page. Not too badly done, though not my cup of teaâ Age level, I donâ t think many teens would be interested in this, the character is only 12 and basic rule of writing is your audience is no older than you character. Yes there are exceptions, but not at this level.for what it is it gets 5 stars, recommend it for free, but if it stays at $0.98 itâ s worth buying for the younger ones. Itâ s not great literature, but at least they are reading English at a semi reasonable level.a Zombie named Zombie in a Diary, Imagine that Our 11 year old son is NOT someone who will read willingly...ever. He was given the first book of this series for Christmas ('15) and never picked it up until his 14 year old cousin was visiting us this Summer and noticed it. He mentioned it was a great book so my son decided to pick it up after his cousin left and did not put it down!! He read it all in ONE sitting!he was so excited when he realized how many books in this series there are. I ordered this one (Book 2) AND Book 3 for him to show him how proud we are of him. He just received Book 2 and has already read 1/2 of it in one sitting.the story is silly and fun and for any Minecraft lover out there. If you have a reluctant reader who happens to love Minecraft - GET THIS SERIES! I bought Diary of a Minecraft Zombie 1 & 2 for my 6 year old son. Although he is just learning to read, we read these together as his bed time story. Here is his review:i like these books. I like that it's about Minecraft. I like the characters and the story. The characters learn how to get along and stop being bullies. They are friends. I would like for my mom to buy more of these books so that we can keep reading Zombie's story. Good job! Keep writing! My 4th grader loves these book. She's typically not an avid reader, but these books are so cleverly written that she couldn't put them down. We ordered the first two, and she'd read them both within a week. My daughter took them to school to show all of her friends (the same ones who wanted nothing to do with Minecraft until my daughter introduced them to it), and the books were a hit. We will be ordering the next volumes soon.

4 My boys (8 & 10) are very into Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Minecraft, so this series was a no-brainer. The books are very short and light-weight, but my boys did get a good kick out of them. If you are trying to get a reluctant reader reading chapter books, this is great incentive.
