As a woman of a certain age, these women inspire me. Plus, coloring is still a fun activity. A box of crayons and this little book...a great way to show children the beauty of older people. I bought a copy for myself and one for a special child in my life. This is great gift for the 'woman of wisdom' who needs no more things but always welcomes more fun. As an adult colorist, I greatly enjoyed this coloring book which was different from any I've ever had before. It features seniors, most of whom seem to be a bit on the eccentric side. They were quite individualistic and each one quite different. The pictures are large and quite easy for anyone to color. I mostly used crayons, highlighting with markers that were non-bleed through.the coloring book costs about double what I usually pay for one, but I am glad I purchased it since it was one I

3 had not had before and since it proved to be such a delight to color. I even wrote brief little scenarios about each individual, giving him or her a name and writing my impression of the individual, which added to my fun. what in the world could make me smile more that watching my son color the outfits of these hip folks...such a fun idea that follows after a really great blog...i've long admired and appreciated these well styled elders... I bought this book as an addendum to the Advanced Style book which I recently gave to a wonderful friend who could have lit up any one of the pages therein. It is a marvelous thing to watch women who have great confidence as the sail gracefully into old age. What an incredible find. I haven't owned or thought about buying a coloring book in years, but my friend gave this to me as a gift and I just love the drawings and beautiful inspiration. I love the unexpectedness of it. I love it so much, I'm even buying extra copies to store away for when I have kids! I liked it! I think if two pages were dedicated to each personality it would have been better. A full picture of the person and the second page could show that person's favorite fashion items, shoes, jewelry, bracelets, accessories, hats, bags, belts etc, all in a grouping! Or feature a different outfit. Would I buy again? Probably! A must-have for everyone who appreciates Ari's book AND the women of Advanced Style! Can't wait for the 2nd issue! Love this coloring book -- and the story behind it. Pictures large and easy to color with very nice finished product. The original pictures are not available in the cover, so that brings it down 1 star for me. But the pictures are delightful!
