This is the only Ipswich die used in the Last Small Cross Issue to depict a rosette brooch tie to drapery, see Sadler p.135, Lifinc 3 also Figs 283, 286 and 284 this and 285 possibly being the same coin. Hence 3 certain coins, this rosette variety, these being J.C.Sadler Collection, Ex. M.Vosper 1999 No.213, almost certainly Ex.Cambridge Hoard. Second:- Classical Numismatic Group Auction 58, , lot 1767, almost certainly Ex. Cambridge Hoard [both coins exhibit excellent surfaces with no peck marks]. The Present coin has peck marks and is Ex. J.Newman, Ex.
