25 FLEXIBLE PACKAGING UNIT Production Facilities To produce inks, DFH has designed and set up in its latest technology facilities in Aspropyrgos, Attica, a fully automated ink production plant, equipped with high-tech machinery and systems At the same time, in its refurbished production facilities in Agios Nikolaos, Evia, provided with the latest technological equipment and infrastructure, DFH produces its state of-the-art water-based product series for the Greek and foreign markets.

26 FLEXIBLE PACKAGING UNIT Lab Facilities, R&D philosophy The R & D Department is continuously developing a whole range of products in response to the latest requirements and applications of packaging inks. Approximately one third of the flexible packaging ink produced is exported to East Europe and the Balkans. Through ongoing research and study of substrates, DFH is able to adapt to new materials so the inks produced can always be of consistent quality and high performance, thus meeting the needs of all package printing applications on flexible materials.
