2 Dear Partners, The event will be under the patronage of The International Security Alliance was founded by the Ministers of Interior of UAE and France, with the joint members of the Ministers of Interior of Spain, Bahrain, Singapore, Senegal, Morocco and Italy. We are very pleased to present the second edition of «Les Entretiens d Abu Dhabi» which will take place on Sunday, 30 September 2018 at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Following the success of the first edition in 2016 devoted to the future of energy and the protection of the environment, both the participants, the French and Abu Dhabi authorities urged us to reproduce the event which demonstrates the bond between the two countries. So, the Entretiens are back focusing this time on the future of and what to expect from it. is transforming daily life - in education, culture, sustainable development, economy, security and defense. Experts, thinkers and entrepreneurs from France, Abu Dhabi and all over the world will be exchanging their views on this topic which is of great important for our future. This next edition promises to be a real success and we want to give you a preview of the programme and the chance to be a key, visible partner in this important discussion. 3 Inspired by Les Entretiens de Royaumomt founded in 2003 at the Royaumont Abbey in France, Les Entretiens d Abu Dhabi» aims to promote an open dialogue and debate among representatives from science, economy, arts and universities. Our goal is to promote an open exchange of opinions and to bring France and Abu Dhabi together through this dialogue. This year, the theme is an extension of the discussions in December 2017 at the Royaumont Abbey concerning new technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence and the arrival of the robot age, and in view of the newly created UAE Ministry of which seeks to bring this new dimension into all governmental projects.
