12 Program Objectives Provide men and women with: Foundation in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Systems Engineering. Practical skills to design and construct robots and robotic systems to address human needs and desires. Entrepreneurial background and spirit to make their ideas become reality. Insight to understand the social and ethical implications of robotics in society.

13 Distribution requirements Mathematics: 7 Courses Must include Diff and Int Calc, Diff Eqns, Lin Alg, and Prob. Basic Science: 4 Courses Must include at least 2 courses in Physics. Entrepreneurship: 1 Course Engineering Science and Design, incl. MQP: 18 Courses At least 5 courses in RBE. At least 3 courses in CS, incl Obj Orient Prog and S/W Eng. At least 2 courses in ECE, incl Emb Sys. At least 2 courses in Controls and Statics. At least 1 course in Soc Imp of Tech. At least 3 courses of Robotics Electives from any ES&D. The MQP must be a Capstone Design Experience in RBE.
