1 / Joint Pole Small Cell Design Review and Process Page V Submit Small Cell Application for Point of Connection Submit Make Ready Application to the Joint Pole for Pole Attachment Redesign 9 compliance (disconnect, customer wiring, grounding) 9 For non-electrical (GO 9) preform rework and contact SMUD for connection. Create a Service Notification ( BDs) Assign to the same Designer based on the SN or UD# Not Not for GO 9 or safety issues Update the SN Review Make Ready Application for GO9 and T0 Requirements (Package will include electrical design stamped by Licensed PE and shall be installed by C-0 Electrical Contractor) (Typically BDs) Ensure SMUD SN # is on final CD and has stamped approval for SMUD requirements Not Connection (Typically 0 BDs) 0 (update on all pages for SN status) 0 (Need to sign Indemnity Agreement) Performs Customer Issue Tag Through the Make Ready process if there is a pole change out required there is an additional 0 days for processing through Northern California Joint Pole Association. Any required line work and/or pole change outs will required an additional to months lead time. All procedures must be followed for public right of way. (New RF Study, CDs, and max calc. letter for new antenna will be required.) Must submit Make Ready Application. (See Page process flow) Submit Stamped CDs to the City for 9 Required compliance ( see notes below) Not Required For non-electrical (GO 9) preform rework and contact SMUD Design to reverification GO9 for corrective action and next steps. 0 No service disconnect is needed. Open existing disconnect and change out. SMUD.CommercialBilling@ smud.org with the following information: -Install date -installation address -Node number -SMUD service notification number ( BDs) Not Not for GO 9 or safety issues Designer will need to verify in the field to ensure a Make Ready Application will not be required(carrier will stay in the already purchased space). See Notes Below. (0 BDs) Designer updates the SN. All standard small cell information is updated as needed. Ensure Billing Note***Existing Service*** and set status to NWAB. Civil plan may not be necessary. Ensure CDs have SN and stamped approve for SMUD requirements. Not Cut Over (Carrier set Appointment) Perform Customer Issue Tag The carrier will not change the attachment method meaning: no bracket, bolts, framing, weight of antenna is equal to or less than current antenna, height change, or movement of antenna from one side to another side of the pole. Designer will need to ask carrier if any of the following will need to be changed: line or load side wire, grounding to disconnect box, change out of the disconnect box. If so, inspection tag and SMUD service crew is required. Access to fuse bay requires a SMUD crew. All procedures must be followed for public right of way. The following changes require an inspection and SMUD service crew: line or load side wire, grounding to disconnect box, change out of the disconnect box. (- BDs) Disconnection (Typically -0 BDs) 9 The carrier will remove the antenna and remove ownership of the pole. All procedures must be followed for public right of way.
