2 innovation through smart design System configuration with oscillator (Open coaxial resonator type) A novel system enables Simple + Accurate + Non-Destructive dielectric measurements at microwave frequencies. Dielectric properties are essential parameters for the design of wireless and high-speed digital devices. In order to meet the growing demand for fast and accurate measurements, AET offers a highly precise dielectric measuring system to measure various samples easily, accurately and non-destructively.

3 Product Lineup Open Coaxial Resonator Open Coaxial Resonator using evanescent wave Simple and non-destructive The open coaxial resonator uses evanescent waves that leak from the inside of the resonator into the measurement sample. This novel method enables a simple and non-destructive dielectric measurement within several tens of seconds. The sample shape can be arbitrary as long as there is one flat surface. 4 Resonant Cavity Resonant Cavity with High Q factor for thin films and PCB materials AET's resonant cavity is designed especially for sheet materials. (Sheets need to be cut into strips.) A High Q factor of the resonators ensures high resolution measurements of very low loss materials like PTFE and high purity ceramics. Compliant with JIS C2565. Also possible to offer systems compliant with JIS R1641, JIS R1627. 5 Fast and easy measurement The biggest advantage of AET s Microwave Dielectrometer is its ease of use. The sample shape can be arbitrary as long as there is one flat surface. Fast and accurate measurements can be achieved by simply placing the sample on the surface of a measurement probe. Low cost system configuration AET offers two types of system configurations: One is a low cost system with dedicated oscillator. It serves as a scalar network analyzer and does not require a vector network analyzer (VNA). The other type is a system utilizing your VNAs. Sample placement System configuration with network analyzer Easy-to-use Software AET s measurement software is designed to use intuitively without any expert knowledge about dielectric measurements. It controls optimal settings for the measurement equipment (oscillator or VNA), so you will obtain stable results by just following a simple procedure. Accurate calculation The calculation of dielectric properties is based on precise 3D electromagnetic simulations of the open coaxial resonators and resonant cavities.
