Please ask us for more information. Here is one more family of high-power devices as a oltage Mode Pulse Width Modulator (C-PWM) module. It was designed for high-power DC/DC and DC/AC converters, and high-power proportional drivers. The internal oscillator allows setting at any available frequency range and with an external voltage or a single potentiometer to set required duty cycle. The C-PWM module can be delivered with the sync input to allow synchronization to an external frequency source. The MG- is a middle speed C-PWM (Hz to KHz) platform designed to accommodate up to high-power MOSFETs. It is transistors for DC or transistors for AC applications with driving capacity of more than, amperes. Transient Protection: All loads are inductive, even ones that are not so obvious or labeled. An inductive load produces a harmful transient voltage, which is much higher than the applied voltage. It happened during turn-off cycle. A SSR built with a MOSFET output acts as an ideal switch and can produce a seemingly non-inductive load, which can cause damage if not suppressed. A transient voltage suppressor, which is bi-directional for AC applied voltage and unidirectional for DC applied voltage, should be used to clamp excessive spikes. The C-PWM switches are maintaining the ability to operate from Hz to KHz and with PWM control from.% to % duty cycle. 5 APPLICATION INFORMATION The EDR belongs to the family of a C-PWM integrated module with an adjustable oscillator and an external setting of the duty cycle allows the use flexibility in selecting frequency and duty for various industrial and military applications. The module provides the most diversity, some of our customer after setting the duty cycle will vary frequency by delivering a short and powerful pulse at a varies frequency, and others changing a duty cycle at a fix frequency thus controlling amount of the total power to a load. Its rugged design is optimized for driving electromechanical devices such as valves, solenoids, relays, and actuators. It is also ideal for driving thermal devices such as heaters, coolers, and high-power lasers and lamps. The EDR is well suited for a high-power DC/AC and DC/DC power converging converter, which is often the preferred solution because of its simplicity, size, low cost, and low part count. Electronic Design & Research s newest high-power C-PWM nodule is optimized for flyback, boost, or forward power converter applications. Having integrated a complete voltage-mode PWM controller with a high voltage and high-power output MOSFETs, a highly efficient, low-cost regulator can be easily designed to operate from an unregulated (wide input range) DC voltage source. Having the same control circuitry, the C-PWM module offered has been offered in a wide range of output voltages, of up to and a few thousand amperes. It can deliver a pulse with rising slope of fraction of a microsecond. PULSE WIDTH CONTROL The pulse-width modulation uses a square wave whose pulse width is modulated resulting of the average value of the waveform, or the average power on a load. The pulse-width modulated by a voltage (control signal) that applies on the. The C-PWM can be used to control the total amount of power delivered to a load without losses normally incurred when a power source is limited by resistive means. This is because the average power delivered is proportional to the modulation duty cycle. In such applications when there is no needs for a precise amount of power or the action a control signal can be derived from the precision reference voltage (pin ).
