1 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON PAGE 5 RVHT 2 MULTI-FIT Programmable R/F Thermostat-Pair SECTION 1 This Programmable Ravenheat R/F controlled room Thermostat RVHT 2, consists of 2 items: a Mobile Transmitter and a Receiver unit which is designed with panel-mounting to fit in the most popular boiler control panels or other commercially available applications. Installation requires no wiring between Transmitter & Receiver and can be fitted in any normal operating environment within a 30 metre range between the two units. Ceilings, walls and partitions and different building materials will reduce the transmission range. There is a unique facility of R/F-address code setting built into both the Transmitter & Receiver to ensure that the R/F signal transmission will not be interfered with by any other nearby R/F signal. There is a blue-back-light and the soft-keys on the Transmitter are made of translucent rubber allowing the Red LED to project through it to provide easy operating in dim light surroundings. There are 3 working frequencies available. The Working frequency is marked on the top right of the housing on both Transmitter and the Receiver. The marked frequency on both units must be set the same, or this thermostat pair will not operate. SECTION 2 Technical Data Transmitter Unit 1. Fig 9A SECTION 6 RF Address Code Setting IMPORTANT If there is another user nearby e.g. in the next house who has the same unit, your receiver may be fault triggered by their Transmitter. Therefore it is recommended that the factory set RF code between the Transmitter and Receiver be re-set by a unique address code, to prevent any unwanted interference. Setting new unique RF Address Code Open the transmitter unit (see Section 4) Open the Receiver unit (see Section 5) Fig. 9B Dip switches shown in Fig 8 and Fig 9c are the same settings. Move the dip switches up or down into any configuration providing the dip switches in both transmitter and receiver correspond, to give unique code.
