It s uniqueness is that the radio sets comprised by the system s conﬁguration provide: stable radio communication in the situation of radio electronic countermeasures with 100% affected spectrum of operating frequencies without arrangement of frequency windows; hiding the voice radio communication and data exchange without use of special technical means. STILET digital radio communication system is intended for: organizing the noise-immune digital radio networks secured against interception and with restricted access to provide radio communication and automated electronic document ﬂow between ﬁxed and mobile control stations, special units and tactical groups; organizing the transport vehicle management when moving within a convoy in conditions of electronic countermeasures against destruct control channels; organizing the management of units performing engineering reconnaissance of routes or demining of facilities in conditions of radio electronic countermeasures against destruct control channels; provision of remote monitoring of transport vehicles, units and mobile objects with representation of their locations (routes of movement) on the digital map when performing mountain and irregular terrain missions; provision of remote monitoring in conditions of unavailability of signals from (ГНСС) GLONASS/GPS global satellite navigation systems; retransmission of signals via noise-immune digital radio networks with restricted access secured against interception. 3

4 STILET RADIO COMMUNICATION, NAVIGATION AND ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM STILET system ensures maximum efﬁciency when high-quality communication is needed, which is secured against interception, in conditions of blocking of demolition control channels when moving in convoys, escorting VIP persons, performing engineering reconnaissance, demining of facilities, performing police operations and anti-terrorism activities, controlling sensitive objects. This system can be used by any defense and low-enforcement or security agencies to ensure secured, noise-immune communication between control bodies, units and services controlling sensitive objects. Figure 3 shows the results of remote monitoring of a transport vehicle equipped with STILET /160 mobile radio set with external GLONAS/GPS VHF receiver. Data exchange has been provided at communication ranges of up to 52 km, voice communication has been provided at communication ranges of up to 60 km. Figure 3. Terrain proﬁle for the communication range of 52.6 km obtained in the process of testing is shown in Figure 4. In this case the height of the antenna base at the control station was 3.5 m.
