Current Indicator: (Macro-Tech 5002VZ only) Cutting edge current flow/current limit (ILOAD/ILIMIT) indicators tell you if current is flowing to the loads, and if the loads demand more current than the amplifier can deliver. Sensitivity: A three-position switch inside the PIP compartment used to select the input sensitivity for both channels: volts or 1.4 volts for full rated power, or a voltage gain of 26 db. The Macro-Tech 5002VZ has a back panel switch for each channel. Compressor: (Macro-Tech 5002VZ only) A three-position back panel switch for each channel used to configure each compressor for fast or slow operation, or to turn output-driven compression off. Loudspeaker Offset Integration: (Macro-Tech 5002VZ only) A back panel switch for each channel used to activate or bypass the loudspeaker protection circuitry. VZ Mode: (Macro-Tech 5002VZ only) A four-position switch for each channel inside the front panel used to control the switching mode of each VZ power supply. Ground Lift: Grounds from the chassis (AC) ground. Located on the standard PIP2-FXQ module and isolates both the phone and XLR input grounds. Reset: (Macro-Tech 2402, 3600VZ, 24x6 and 36x12 only) A back panel push button for each channel used to reset the circuit breaker that protects each power supply. INDICATORS Enable: This amber indicator shows the on/off status of the low-voltage power supply. It also shows that the forced air cooling system is operational for all units except the Macro-Tech 5002VZ. ODEP: An amber indicator for each channel shows the reserve energy status. Normally, each indicator is brightly illuminated to show that reserve energy is available. In the rare event that a channel has no energy reserve, its ODEP indicator will dim in proportion to ODEP limiting. Signal/IOC: A green two-function indicator for each channel flashes to show that there is amplifier output. The indicator flashes with brighter intensity if the amplifier causes any distortion of 0.05% or more. ILOAD/ILIMIT: (Macro-Tech 5002VZ only) A two-color indicator for each channel glows green when current is flowing to the load, and turns red if the load requires more current that the amplifier can deliver. INPUT/OUTPUT Input Connector: A balanced 1/4 - inch TRS and a three-pin female XLR connector for each channel. (A variety of input connectors are available with other PIP modules.) Input Impedance: 20 k ohms balanced and 10 k ohms unbalanced. Macro-Tech 5002VZ: 10 k ohms balanced and 5 k ohms unbalanced. Output Connector: One set of 5-way, color-coded binding posts for each channel. (European models do not accept banana plugs.)
