Why not just have one of them take your newborn s first photographs? While it s ultimately up to you to decide how you d like your baby s first few weeks of life documented, we believe hiring an experienced professional is the ideal way to get wonderful results. Believe it or not, our job goes far beyond snapping the shutter. Photography is an art; one that requires experience and practice to achieve worthy results. At Nicola Borland Photography, we work one-on-one with each client to deliver images with an artistic style tailored to your family s character. We offer a choice of session styles, archival products, image retouching, and years of experience with posing babies safely to bring clients amazing and consistent results. Additionally, we have available a large selection of props and outfits you may choose from, and are willing to literally sweat for hours to get baby happy in a heated room! At the end of all this hard work, you are the one who ultimately gets to enjoy the final product. From newborn to their first birthday you can count on us to capture all their milestones in the most beautiful and memorable way. We recommend: Posed Newborn Session at around 7-10 days old Six Month Session, or when baby is sitting One Year Session when baby is standing You can also add: Maternity 3 Month 9 Month Session Or any other special dates you want! Each additional session is only $147. Starting at an older age? Don t worry. Your little one will be fine in our experienced hands. We will work with baby to pose them in the most comfortable position for age. Payment plans are available. PLANNING HEAD IN TIME FOR A MATERNITY SESSION? 11 OUR NEWBORN SESSION INVESTMENT Posed sessions may take a little time and elbow grease, but it s well worth the work! With a few props and cooperation from baby, posed sessions result in images that will make the whole family, go Ga-Ga. Cute hats, baskets, and blankets surround your little one while we capture Baby slumbering in doll-like poses on comfy pillows. A typical posed session may last anywhere from 2 to 3 hours, and generally requires cooperation from mom and dad for safety. We require scheduling a minimum of 3 hours per session to ensure we get the best (and most adorable) results. If you re having trouble deciding which type of session you d like for your newborn, please don t hesitate to contact us with any questions - we ll be happy to work with you one on one to create beautiful and meaningful heirloom imagery! MATERNITY TIPS Maternity sessions are ideal between weeks. It really depends on your preference though. Just call to ask the best time for you. MATERNITY SESSIONS ARE $199 The session includes: 30 minutes fo photography time. images edited to best of the best. In-Studio View & Choose Session. About 30 images to choose from. Choice of a la carte or collections of custom products to add on including gift prints, wall prints or digital files.

16 NICOLA BORLAND PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO POLICIES The session fee is due in full at the time of booking in order to guarantee your session date and time. You may reschedule this appointment, provided you give us a minimum of 48 hours notice, however we ask that you limit rescheduling to one time only. Reprint orders can be made at any time throughout the year, while your images are on file. As always, there is a minimum print order amount of $ so it is best to place all orders at one time to avoid having to meet the minimum each time. If you must cancel your session due to illness or other personal emergency, please do your best to provide the studio with 24 hours notice so that your session time can be made available to other clients. Failure to provide adequate notice of a cancellation will result in the forfeiture of your session fees, and another session fee payment will be required to hold your new date. Cameras, camcorders, or recording devices of any kind are not permitted at your photographic session. Please leave all camera equipment, or said devices at home. Attendance at photo sessions is limited to those individuals being photographed. In the case of children and newborns, attendance is limited to two parents only. Siblings are welcome if they are to be photographed as well. Please do not bring personal assistants, nannies, caregivers, or friends to your session, unless needed. Having additional persons present is very distracting, not only to the photographer but also to those being photographed. Your session will begin promptly at the agreed upon time. Please arrange to be dressed, made-up and ready to begin at this time. (Because the session length is predetermined, any additional time required to prepare yourself or children once you ve arrived will reduce the amount of time we can spend in-session, and further limits the amount of images captured.) All orders form your session will take place at a special View & Choose Session created for this purpose, two weeks after your session. This appointment will last one hour, and all persons who wish to place an order {or have input into your family order decisions} are encouraged to attend. Basic retouching is included. Beauty retouching is billed at an hourly rate of $60 per hour for removal of braces, digital slimming, wrinkle reduction, etc. Due to the custom nature of the products and services provided by Nicola Borland Photography, all sales are final once received. Items cannot be returned or exchanged. You may add on to your order at any time, but a sale is considered final at the time it is made. Custom designs, layouts and albums will be proofed to you within 2 weeks of your order. You are granted one opportunity to make up to three changes within your layout. All requests for changes must be made at the same time, as only one additional proof will be created. We reserve the right to make final decisions on artistic layouts. I take the utmost care with respect to the proper exposure, retouching, and archiving of my digital images. In the unlikely event of data loss, camera equipment malfunction or photographer illness that prevents the undertaking of the session, photographer s liability will be limited to the refund of all session fees, or a new session can be scheduled at no additional cost to the client. All images provided by Nicola Borland Photography whether in digital (online, etc...) form or in print, may not be reproduced by any means. All images created by Nicola Borland Photography are protected under copyright law, and may not be saved to computers, printed, scanned, photographed, ed, posted online or shared digitally without written consent. Nicola Borland Photography reserves the right to use the any images or custom created artwork for display, publication, studio marketing, or other promotional purposes. Digital negatives and originals remain the property of Nicola Borland Photography. Digital files are not included with your session fee, but can be purchased with our one of our collections, or on their own. Nicola Borland Photography creates special client events throughout the year to provide our clients with an opportunity to obtain special offerings, pricing and value.
