All of the photographs were taken between 1980 and 2005 by Nancy H. Marshall on her personal voyages to each location. Marshall, a native of Williamsburg, Virginia, had, in her own words, always been fascinated by lighthouses. Throughout her life she collected postcards, stamps and

3 photographs of lighthouses from around the world. She went across the United States taking many photographs of every lighthouse, light ship and range light she could find. SERIES DESCRIPTION This collection is organized into a single series consisting of two boxes with a total of 35 folders in ascending alphabetical order by country then by state.
