Sandblasting with photoresist film produces finer detail than any other imaging methods. Uniform sandblasting of a substrate with the ability to blast lines as small as 0.5 pt or even photorealistic halftones makes sandblasting the finest and best-looking imaging option. Each film type provides his own and unique advantages and strengths. RapidMask The most innovative style of sandblasting. Rapid- Mask is a dry processing and self adhesive photoresist film type which is by far the most innovative film available. With fine detail (up to photorealistic halftone) making ability and strong blast resistance the combination of RapidMask HD (50 µ) and RapidMask HT (100 µ) provide an effortless, creative and productive sandblasting experience. RapidMask is as simple as: Expose Apply Blast. MMX MMX is the photo-imageable sandblast mask alternative to plotter-cut or hand-cut vinyl. MMX photoresist film is an advanced film that provides deep etching ability similar to vinyl while offering the quick and easy process of a photoresist. With MMX in 250 µ (or MM6 in 150 µ), users can achieve better image quality without the hassle of weeding. Extreme sandblasting resistance, high detail resolution and strong self-adhesion are the main advantages of this film type. UltraPeel UltraPeel allows users to colour infill sandblasted areas with solvent based lacquers. UltraPro is available in 75 µ and 125 µ thickness and allows you to efficiently create your sandblast mask instantly while reducing production time by completely eliminating the adhesive application step. This provides you fast, uniform etching throughout your entire sandblasting area. These non self-adhesive films of the ImageBlast photoresist line were designed to handle the toughest working conditions. ProSuper and ProRed are advanced and user-friendly films with white-light tolerance, wide exposure latitude, inherent durability and working under most climate conditions, providing you a simple, productive and enjoyable sandblasting experience. Washout/Development Most of the ImageBlast photoresist films (expect RapidMask) require to be developed with water after the uv-exposing. The simplest washout method is certainly the manual method by using temperate water and/or a high pressure washer. Our ImageJet washout pistol was designed to fit most of current pressure washers and is the easiest way of getting started. In order to complete the manual method, HARKE Imaging offers washout boxes in a variety of dimensions, starting from small A3 boxes up to large format boxes with integrated yellow safe light.
