3 Bitumen prices across Europe moved higher by US$ 7-14 PMT since last week. The Current Bitumen prices for Europe are as follows: Prices of Bitumen in Netherlands Rotterdam reported in the range of USD PMT and have increased by US$ 8 PMT since last week, in Belgium Antwerp prices reported at USD , an increase of US$ 7 PMT since last week, and in Brussels prices reported in the range of USD PMT with a net rise of USD 8 PMT in a week s time. In Germany north and northeast, the latest prices are PMT. In the South, prices are US$ PMT and in the south and west, prices are US$ PMT. Germany bitumen prices are up by US$ 8 PMT since last week. In France, the prices are US$ PMT in the North, US$ PMT in central France and US$ PMT in the South. Prices are up by around US$ 9 PMT since last week in the country. In the UK, bitumen prices have jumped by US$ 14 PMT and are currently in the range of US$ PMT in the south. In Italy prices are US$ PMT with an increase of US$ 8 PMT. In Spain the prices are US$ PMT in the northeast and US$ PMT in the southwest. Prices are up by US$ 9 PMT since last week. Australia's bitumen demand has been steady over the past couple of years with the country consuming approximately 8, tons of bitumen a year. The country used to import most of it's bitumen from Singapore and over the past few years it has also started importing good quantities from Thailand. Australia imported roughly 6, tons of bitumen from Singapore each year for the last 3 years. So far this year from January to June 21, Australia has imported roughly 66, MT of bitumen from Thailand. Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Europe s largest oil company, says it s carrying out maintenance at its Geelong refinery in Australia, declining to provide details of what units are being serviced. The facility is still functioning, Paul Zennaro, Melbourne-based spokesman for Shell, said. The bitumen unit, damaged in a May fire, remains offline and it isn t known when it will return to service, he said. Geelong, one of two refineries operated by Shell in Australia, has the capacity to process as many as 12, barrels of oil a day and supplies about 5 percent of Victoria state s fuel needs, according its website. Bitumen is being sourced for customers from the company s Clyde plant in New South Wales and other sources, Zennaro said. The Geelong plant is one of seven refineries in Australia, with others operated by BP Plc, Caltex Australia Ltd. and Exxon Mobil Corp. Singapore FOB bulk bitumen prices are currently in the range of US$ PMT and FOB drummed bitumen prices have fallen by US$ 1 PMT since last week and are currently in the range of US$ PMT. The country exported MT of bitumen in June 21. During the month, the country exported MT (4%) to Indonesia, MT (28%) to China, MT (21%) to Malaysia, 196 MT (9%) to Vietnam, 1616 MT to Hong Kong, and the rest to Brunei, Philippines, India and Papua New Guinea. So far in this year i.e. from January to June 21, Singapore exported MT of bitumen. The country exported MT in January 21, MT in February, MT in March, MT in April, MT in May and MT in June 21. As per the data analysis by our team, exports of the country have decreased by 1% during half year i.e. Jan 21 June 21, compared to the same period last year. The latest rates for Singapore to South China are US$ PMT, Singapore to East China - US$ PMT, Thailand to South China - US$ PMT, Taiwan to East & South China - US$ PMT and South Korea to East China - US$ 24-3 PMT. Chinese importers' demand for cutback bitumen have plunged since July due to tougher customs inspection which has decreased the availability of such resources and have pushed up import cost, according to an international fuel oil trader. Different from June, Shandong-based importers have made no bids this month for August-delivery cutback bitumen, and bids from South China have decreased sharply, the trader said. So far, Chinese importers have not fixed a deal for cutback bitumen to be delivered in August, he pointed out. Another market source also ascribed this to more rigid customs inspection on cutback bitumen, which has required bitumen content above 1% and viscosity above 5CST, versus none of such requirement before. Under this standard, only some high-viscosity, high-sulfur fuel oil from South American can be declared as cutback bitumen and supply has become scarce, C1 learned. "Unstable policy on the imports of cutback bitumen has made it risky for importers," said an international supplier of cutback bitumen. His blended straight-run fuel oil cargo to be loaded in Southeast Asia in the end of July will be declared as fuel oil when it is sold to Shandong, the supplier added. Furthermore, due to weaker buying interest from domestic buyers, the only cargo of cutback bitumen that reached Shandong in July, 5, mt, is still waiting for re-exports. In the month of June 21, Japan imported MT of Bitumen. The country imported MT (99%) from Korea and 158 MT (1%) from USA. While in the month of June 21, Japan exported MT of Bitumen. The country exported maximum quantity to China i.e.1137 MT (99%) and 64 MT (1%) to other countries. Japan exported approximately 12 MT of Bitumen in January 21, 12 MT in February, 36 MT in March, MT in April, MT in May and MT in June 21. Japan exported MT of Bitumen during half year Jan June 29 while it was 4449 MT in Jan June 21. As per the data analysis by our team, exports of the country have decreased by 65% during half year, compared to the same period last year. Compared to last month i.e. May 21 exports of the country have gone down by 25% in the month of June 21. Japan imported approximately 238 MT of bitumen in January 21, MT in February, MT in March, MT in April, 9232 MT in May and MT in June 21. Japan imported MT of Bitumen during half year i.e. Jan June 29, while it was MT in Jan June 21. As per the data analysis by our team, imports of the country have increased by 33% during half year, compared to the same period last year. Compared to last month i.e. May 21 imports of the country have gone up by 2% in the month of June 21. In the month of June 21, Thailand imported 2213 MT of Bitumen. The country imported MT (82%) from Malaysia, 2362 MT (11%) from China, 132 MT (6%) from Taiwan, 248 MT (1%) from France and 64 MT from India. From January June 21, Thailand imported MT of Bitumen. The country imported MT (73%) from Malaysia, 967 MT (1%) from Singapore, 7783 MT (8%) from China, 5169 MT (5%) from India, 2936 MT (3%) from Bahrain, 132 MT (1%) from Taiwan and 445 MT from France. So far in this year i.e. from January to June 21, Thailand exported MT of bitumen. The country exported 4351 MT of bitumen in January 21, MT in February, MT in March, MT in April, MT in

8 May and MT in June 21. As per the data analysis by our team, exports of the country have increased by 2% during half year i.e. Jan June 21, compared to the same period last year. Compared to last month i.e. May 21 exports of the country have dipped down by 2% in the month of June 21. In the month of June 21, Thailand exported MT of Bitumen. The country exported 298 MT (49%) to Australia, 1582 MT (37%) to China, 2546 MT (6%) to Cambodia, 19 MT (4%) to Vietnam, 922 MT (2%) to Lao Republic and 256 MT (1%) to other countries. From the month of January 21 June 21 Thailand exported MT of Bitumen. Bitumen demand in the country has picked up significantly as domestic road construction enters peak season. Prices in Bahrain are steady at US$ 43 PMT FOB bulk bitumen. Iranian bitumen producers sold 1347 MT of bitumen on the Iran Mercantile Exchange during the last week of July 21.Pasargad Oil Co. sold 5 MT of grade 85/1 bitumen on July 25, 21 on FCA Arak basis at an average price of US$ 36 PMT. While on the same day Negin Fakhr Co. sold 2 MT of grade 6/7 bitumen on EXW Jolfa basis at an average price of US$ 365 PMT. The delivery date for both the cargo is August 24, 21. Pasargad Oil Co. sold 15 MT of grade 6/7 bitumen on July 25, 21 on FOB Bandarabas basis at an average price of US$ 46 PMT. The delivery date of the cargo is August 24, 21. On July 25, 21 Pasargad Oil Co. sold 227 MT of grade 6/7 bitumen on FCA Tehran basis at an average price of US$ 36 PMT. The delivery date for the cargo is August 24, 21. Pasargad Oil Co. sold 5 MT of grade 85/1 bitumen on July 25, 21 on FOB Bandar Abbas basis at an average price of US$ 46 PMT. The delivery date of the cargo is August 24, 21.Further on July 26, 21 Jay Oil Refining Co. sold 25 MT of grade 85/1 bitumen on EXW Isfahan at an average price of US$ 365 PMT. The delivery date of the cargo is August 25, 21. On the same day Pasargad Oil Co. sold 5 MT of grade 85/1 bitumen on FCA Arak basis at an average price of US$ 36 PMT. While on July 26, 21 Jay Oil Refining Co. sold 37 MT of grade 6/7 bitumen on EXW Isfahan basis at an average price of US$ 365 PMT. The delivery date of both the cargo is August 25, 21.

11 7 Iran Bitumen FOB Prices in USD/MT Drums Bulk In the month of June 21, India imported 7711 MT of Bitumen. The country imported 5382 MT (7%) from Iran, 199 MT (14%) from Singapore, 969 MT (13%) from UAE, 177 MT (2%) from Yemen, and 84 MT (1%) from Kuwait. India imported most of the quantity into Calcutta; it unloaded 6696 MT into Calcutta which is almost 87% of the total imports in the month, 918 MT (12%) into JNPT and 97 MT (1%) into Madras. So far in this year i.e. from January to June 21, India imported MT of bitumen. The country imported 897 MT in January 21, 4591 MT in February, 4684 MT in March, 7987 MT in April, 194 MT in May and 7711 MT in June 21. As per the data analysis by our team, imports of the country have decreased by 56% during half year i.e. Jan 21 June 21, compared to the same period last year. Compared to last month i.e. May 21 imports of the country have gone down by 29% in the month of June 21. BPCL has increased domestic rack bitumen prices by roughly US$ 3 PMT effective Aug 2, 21. The latest ex refinery bitumen prices effective of excise and taxes are as follows; bitumen grade VG 4 (Bulk) is Rs.2872 PMT, while bitumen grade VG 3 (Bulk) is Rs.2732 PMT and VG 1 (Bulk) is Rs.2652 PMT. On the other hand BPCL bitumen grade VG 4 (Packed) is Rs.3182 PMT, bitumen VG 3 (Packed) is Rs.342 PMT and bitumen grade VG 1 (Packed) is Rs.2962 PMT.
