Many pictures are an image of an animal, others just the head of animal, a few illustrations have backgrounds along with the animal.with this book keep in mind that the artist added many miniscule details (too small to color) that are to be colored over as a larger area, look at the cover picture on the small elephantâ s trunk as an example.the cover picture is representative of most of the pictures in the book.on the back of each page is an inspiring quote that will add to your coloring experience. One example (I believe the world is incomprehensibly beautiful-and endless prospect of magic and wonder.)1. 45 Illustrations printed one per page (on the

3 back of each page is a beautiful, inspirational quote) on medium weight, bright white paper.2. All Markers and some Gel pens leak through the paper so to prevent leakage onto the next picture, place a scrap sheet of paper under the page you are coloring and make sure the picture is dry before removing that page.3. The pages have a dotted line next to the binding for cutting the page from the book.tip;1. The areas that are too small too color and other areas that you want to bring attention too, just color over the decorations and let them subtly decorate areas such as a nose or mouth. Maybe I am just spoiled by other books but the printing quality of this one and the others by this author are awful. The paper is like printer paper and the black of the lines bleeds into the pictures. I ordered two by this author and will be giving them away or letting my 2 yr old scribble in them. Bummer because the pictures are nice. I bought both "Life on Earth" and "The Tree of Life". The artwork in both is absolutely dreadful. Some of the pictures are hard to figure out what they are. Neither of these are what I thought they would be. I am very disappointed. The attached photos are from both books because I plan to leave this same review for both. I'm disappointed by the paper and print quality. The illustrations are great, albeit there are details too small to color. Beautiful pictures but some of them are so tiny and intricate I don't know how you could color them without a magnifying class! I'm still happy with the purchase because it's only some pages that have the tiny drawings. From the sample the lines looked more faint. Actual book has thick black lines which I don't like for coloring. I've always loved coloring and when Adult Coloring books finally caught on I was thrilled. I purchased this book because I was attracted to the elephants on the cover and after checking out some of the different designs in the book on I knew it was a good fit. My husband has recently been diagnosed with heart issues and has been undergoing a lot of testing and we've been going to a lot of doctors and this coloring book has kept my mind off negative thoughts and helped relieve stress.

4 There are so many great designs but the best part of this book is that on the page to the left of the coloring page there is a quote or saying that really strikes a chord. Such an awesome Adult Coloring Book that serves as soup for the soul as well and definitely a deal at this price. I paid 7.99 for this book (and 8.50 for one of substantially better quality).the major differences between the two are: 1) the other's designs are all large enough to color every element, and 2) the overall quality of the book (most noticeably: paper quality).
