4 SUPPLY LIST GRADE 3 Hopefully students have held on to and will be recycling and re-using supplies such as rulers, scissors, crayons, left over glue sticks and bottles, pencil crayons, etc. Each student will need: 5 Exercise books: 2 Interlined Hilroy (blue cover, 72 pages) exercise books 2 Plain lined Hilroy (red cover, 72 pages) exercise books Half interlined and half plain Hilroy (green cover, 72 pages) exercise book 8 Duo tangs in any colour Coil bound scrap book 37 x 25 cm 20 Canadian made pencils 5 Erasers Metric ruler that is not flexible 4 Large size glue sticks or 6 of the smaller size (or a mix of both) Package pencil crayons Box of crayons Crayola oil pastels Set felt pens (a set of the thick ones - Crayola or the Scented felts for example) Pair of scissors Bottle of white glue (Lepages or Elmers work the best) Paint set - the usual round paint disk kind (dollar store paints can usually only be used once and the liquid paint pots go moldy) 2 Large zip lock bags Agenda (you can purchase one here at school for $7.00) Large box of Kleenex (you do not need to put names on these as we share this item) Water bottle for drinks during class If students want a personal pencil sharpener please bring the kind that has a screw top shaving catcher attached. This kind will make our custodian s job that much easier. *Please think about avoiding dollar store supplies as they do not work well or last long. * * Put your name on all your supplies -thanks! Other supplies students will need : Gym shoes that stay here at school Extra socks and sweat pants for those days when someone may fall and need a set of dry clothes (these can stay at school for the year in a gym bag)
