1 West Central Public School Kindergarten Supply List Welcome to the West Central Kindergarten Program! A list of supplies is as follows: 1 Clipboard 2 White Erasers 1 Pair of Children s Scissors 1 Pocket Folder (any design or colour) 1 Pair of Indoor/Gym shoes (NON-MARKING SOLES) Please make certain the indoor/gym runners and outdoor shoes are slip on or Velcro/fasten style. Please do not send lace-up shoes. 1 Box of Kleenex 3 Large Glue Sticks 5 HB Ticonderoga Pencils 1 Large Box of Crayons (24-48 count, label each crayon please) 1 Set of Pencil Crayons (please sharpen and label each crayon) 1 Set of Markers (Mr. Sketch Smelly please label each one) 1 Pencil Case for crayons and markers to fit into 1 Small, Metal Pencil Sharpener 1 Lunch Kit (to be sent with student each day) A bag of indoor change clothes (underwear, socks, shirt and pants). (Please label each piece) 1 Pack Dry-Erase Markers (multi-color, low odour) 1 Sock (to use as a whiteboard eraser) 1 School Bag (large enough to hold a lunch kit, library books, etc.) 1 Pair inexpensive headphones in a Ziploc bag labeled with student s name. They can be purchased for $2.00-$3.00 at Walmart. 2 Packages of Sticky Notes 1 Pillow with pillow case 1 Paint shirt 1 Large Scrap Book PLEASE LABEL EACH OF THE ABOVE ARTICLES. (I know this is time consuming, but I promise you that your child s school supplies will stay in THEIR pencil boxes rather than someone else s if you do this. ) PLEASE SEND A DAILY MID-MORNING SNACK EACH K-DAY (Fruit, vegetables, yogurt, cheese & crackers, granola bars are good snacks please do not send pudding, cookies, or sugary items for a morning snack) Looking forward to the school term!
