1 Supplies for Kindergarten Dear Parents/Guardians: This year we have decided to give parents a break from the hectic back to school shopping. The teachers in Kindergarten will be purchasing your child s school supplies for each classroom. Parents will need to send $55.00 with their child on the first day of school. The money will be used by the teachers to purchase ALL of the supplies your child will need for the entire school year. This also includes two skating trips and a yearend trip. Parents will need to purchase a lunch box, book bag, and indoor sneakers (NO Black soles that mark and Velcro only for Kindergarten, sneakers should fit properly for safety reasons). 2 Supplies for Grade green Hilroy exercise books (1/2 plain, ½ interlined 72 pages 23 x18cm) 10 duo tangs: 2 yellow, 2 green, 2 blue, 2 orange, 2 red 1 large box of tissues 1 pkgs. of good quality pencils (12-24) 1 large pkg refill baby wipes 1 box large Ziploc bags and 2 XL Ziploc baggies 1 small box of Ziploc baggies (no sliding ones) 1 package of plastic spoons 6 white erasers 1 Dollar Store coiled scrapbook (large for artwork) Label all of the following individual items with your child s name: 1 package of wax crayons, minimum 24 Pencil box (should be able to hold crayons, pencils and glue stick) 1 package of markers (10) (broad type) 6 large glue sticks Indoor sneakers (Velcro or curly laces non marking black soles) Headphones (not ear buds) Spill-proof water bottle 2 white board markers 2 tubs of playdough (good quality) 1 White project glue, no clog tip 1 set of water colours (dollar store) Paint Shirt Lunch Box Book Bag Please do not put any names on duo tangs & notebooks as we will sort them. This will help to keep your child organized. We will be collecting $30.00 to cover the expense of your child s agenda, classroom supplies, two skating trips and a year-end trip.
