18 Installation guide Our Kinedo shower cubicles can be installed in less than a day, compared to a standard shower enclosure, which can take up to four days. The step by step guide shown here clearly illustrates the ease with which a Kinedo cubicle can be assembled versus a conventional enclosure. Ensure floor area is level for the shower tray. Many of our trays have adjustable feet to help with levelling. Mark up for wall panel brackets, drill and affix to wall. Fit the shower valve to the shower cubicle panel. The interior cubicle slot into the grooves of the shower tray (this provides a leak free fitting). Fix using the bolts and washers to the frame and fixing bracket. Next, fit the front panel and (s) and then the seals. And finally, fit the shower head, hose and handset in to place. Your silicone free, grout free and leak free cubicle is now ready for use. CONVENTIONAL ENCLOSURE INSTALLATION DAY 1 DAY 1 DAY 2 DAY 2 DAY 3 DAY 3 DAY 3 DAY 4 Install the shower tray having checked that the floor is level, sound and solid. Walls may need to be skimmed with plaster to accept files. Tile the walls and allow the adhesive to dry before undertaking the grouting. Grout tiles and remove excess grout before buffing tiles. Silicone seal the gap between the tray and the wall tiles. Install the chosen shower. Fit the enclosure wall profiles. Fit the side panel and. Silicone seal throughout. Once silicone has dried (usually 24 hours later) the enclosure is ready to use.
