4 JAMIE DURIE SIGNATURE HORIZONS A collaboration with renowned horticulturist and international award-winning landscape designer, Jamie Durie. Blurred horizons of the beautiful natural landscape of Australia is the inspiration behind my latest collection of rugs. These exquisitely colour shaded rugs act as a beautiful backdrop to any room in the same way depth of field influences our perception. There is no critical point of transition between one shade of colour to the next and as a result the rugs provide a soft, comforting anchor to a room, evoking a sense of serenity similar to when viewing a landscape horizon at dawn or dusk. 24 Shaynna Blaze Textured Coast A collaboration with Interior Designer and renowned TV personality, Shaynna Blaze. I wanted the designs and colours of the rugs to take on different depths and textures from every direction. The rugs not only look textural, but feel soft underfoot, with carving representing the rippling sands and coral from the ocean floor. The calming tones of grey and warm neutrals let them slip seamlessly into both traditional and contemporary homes, adding depth, texture and warmth to an interior. 46 Julu Wajaar Indigenous Rug Collection A collaborative collection with Australian Indigenous artists; Chris (Wirrimbi-Oak) Edwards, Dr Fabri Blacklock and Vincent Forrester. This collection is called Julu Wajaar (One Earth in the Gumbaynggir language). The designs encompass features and stories of indigenous heritage and culture that move from the coast through to the Australian desert.
