3 Framed Square lock Assembly nstructions 1. Sew one 2 1 2" x 3 1 2" 4066 White strip to each side of one 3 1 2" Super lack. Sew one 2 1 2" x 7 1 2" 4066 White strip to the top and bottom of the 3 1 2" to make the pieced block in Row ne. 2. Sew one 2 1 2" x 6 1 2" 4067 lack strip to each side of one 6 1 2" Super lack. Sew one 2 1 2" x " 4067 lack strip to the top and bottom of the 6 1 2" to make the lower pieced block for Row ight. 3. Sew one 3 1 2" x 4 1 2" 4063 White strip to each side of one 4 1 2" Super lack. Sew one 3 1 2" x " 4063 White strip to the top and bottom of the 4 1 2" to make the upper pieced block in Row ight. Row Assembly nstructions 4.Follow the quilt layout diagram to sew together each of the ten vertical rows. Note: The layout only shows the pieced quilt top layout, not the appliquéd circles and s. 5.Follow the layout and sew the vertical rows together to make the quilt top. e sure to keep the rows in order and in the correct orientation to each other. Appliqué nstructions 6. Following the fusible web manufacturer s instructions, trace the number of ircle templates listed in the Appliqué hart, below, onto the paper side of the fusible web.roughly cut out each shape about 1/4" outside each drawn line. Since all of the lighter-colored pieces marked () will need a duplicate piece of Super Taxi, be sure to trace and cut TW pieces of fusible web for each piece marked (). 7. Press each circle template onto the back side of the appropriate fabric (including duplicate circles of Super Taxi). ut out each circle on the drawn line. 8. For the appliqués, cut pieces of fusible web about 1" larger than the size listed in the cutting directions. For example, an 8" needs a piece of fusible web that is 9". e sure to trace and cut duplicate pieces of fusible web for all s marked (). 9. Press each template to the back side of the appropriate fabric (including duplicate s of Super Taxi). Now, using a ruler and rotary cutter, cut the s to the sizes listed in the Appliqué hart. 10. Refer to the quilt photo for placement and press the circles and s to the quilt top. Note the half circles in the quilt photo. ut those circles in half before appliquéing the pieces to the quilt top. Finishing 11. Finish the raw edges of each appliqué with a decorative stitch such as a buttonhole or satin stitch. 12. ayer and quilt as desired. 13. Piece the 2 1 4" width-of-fabric binding strips together end to end with 45º seams. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together. Pin the binding to the front of the quilt lining up raw edges. Stitch. Fold the binding over the raw edge to the back of the quilt and stitch in place. To prevent the dark prints from showing through the lighter prints, cut and fuse a duplicate shape of Super Taxi to the back of each () appliqué piece. Then fuse to the intended location on the quilt top.
