5 Progress since May 2012 (2) Identified unsafe empty, boarded up houses - as well as outbuildings, abandoned caravans and barns on our site - that we d like to remove in the future: - submitted 15 notifications to IACC to remove a total of 11 derelict houses or other structures - application covering derelict outbuildings at Tre r Gôf also encompasses the house. However, no plans to remove house and intend to keep it occupied - received notification from IACC that work can proceed within a five year period - first we must ensure we don t disturb any protected species during removal works and can relocate them - signage with Horizon contact details on all empty properties to discourage unauthorised access - bulk of any demolition work will take place in 2013 and only after we ve shared details with local people - Recycling materials and minimising waste will be an integral part of any demolition activities. Wherever possible materials will be reused on site 5

And finally a tale of two Toms Congratulations to Tom Hurford, a member of Horizon s project development team, on gaining his degree with first class honours.

As one of the top performing students on his course, he was also awarded an Academic Certificate of Excellence by the Chartered Institute of Building Congratulations to PLG Member, and former senior

9 And finally a tale of two Toms Congratulations to Tom Hurford, a member of Horizon s project development team, on gaining his degree with first class honours. Tom, who was educated at Ysgol Gynradd Amlwch and Ysgol Syr Thomas Jones, Amlwch, graduated from the University of Salford, Manchester, with a First in Construction Project Management. As one of the top performing students on his course, he was also awarded an Academic Certificate of Excellence by the Chartered Institute of Building Congratulations to PLG Member, and former senior commissioning engineer at Wylfa A, Lieutenant Commander Tom Conway who has received an Honorary Award from Swansea University. Tom originally graduated with a degree in Physics and Pure Mathematics from the university in The Pro Vice Chancellor of Swansea University, commended Tom s work by saying: Tom has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to promoting the nuclear power industry. 9
