1 AFL CIO California School Employees Association PACE BULLETIN November 18, 2016 PACE Bulletin No NOVEMBER 8, 2016 GENERAL ELECTION RESULTS Action for Chapter Presidents: Discuss and distribute the General Election Results to chapter members. A. SUBJECT MATTER The enclosed November 8, 2016 General Election Results spotlight the recent victories earned by CSEA endorsed candidates. Of the 120 CSEA endorsed offices, 96 of CSEA candidates were successfully elected to represent labor. Additionally, of the seven initiatives that CSEA took a position on, six were successful. Endorsement recommendations are based on incumbents pro-education/labor voting records and candidates positions on pro-education/labor issues of importance to the working rights and benefits for classified employees. B. REQUIRED ACTION As an information item for discussion and distribution to chapter members. Please post on CSEA bulletin boards and duplicate as necessary. (continued on next page)
