5 FRED CHIN LEE Former President of the Trinidad and Tobago Hotel Association and a Civil Engineer by profession, (graduating from the University of Toronto), Mr. Fred Chin Lee has successfully led Fred Chin Lee and Associates Ltd. through 30 years in the very volatile construction industry. At the peak of its operation this company employed approximately 1,200 persons with annual revenue between $80 and $130 million. With extensive experience in Strategic Planning and Management, Mr. Chin Lee and his Associates have taken a number of major construction projects from inception to start up and implementation. CHRISTOPHER CHIN LEE Christopher Chin Lee holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering (1984) from Tufts University College of Engineering, Medford MA. While still in Massachusetts Christopher began his career as an assistant and project engineer. On his return to Trinidad he was involved in various projects and operated in several positions honing and developing his skills which eventually proved to be quite a valuable contribution to the leadership and direction of the business. He has been able to manage projects from the business planning stage, through to negotiating project financing, budget preparation and obtaining the necessary legal permissions required. DONNA CHIN LEE With an extensive background in Marketing, Project and Financial Management, Ms. Chin Lee has worked internationally with clients not only in the United States but also in Poland and Slovakia. This combination of skills affords her the ability to work effortlessly on the project management side of the business as well as well as conduct the necessary market research and data analysis necessary to ensure project long term viability. Donna s design and advertising talents means that she can also manage the production of all collateral material particularly when selling new ideas. Presently she is the Director of Caribbean Enterprise Development Inc. [Boston Ma], a company providing consulting services for economic development projects with a focus in the both the Boston area and within the Caribbean. JONATHAN CHIN LEE Graduating with a Double Major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Tuft s University College of Engineering, Medford Ma Jonathan is responsible for supporting, developing and enhancing computer networks and communication systems. He is the go-to person for hardware and software recommendations and advice. HECTOR HUGH MARTIN A part time lecturer at the University of the West Indies (in Construction Engineering and Management Msc. Programme this project manager has received several awards including the PTSC Award for the highest marks in Maintenance and Facilities Management. As a consultant, Hector recently provided consultancy services to NIPDEC for the School Repair Programme 2008 for fifteen (15) schools ranging from renovation works to the design of new facilities including but not limited to the development of scope and contract documents, the management of the tender evaluation process and the overall management of contractors during the construction period. His personal motivation includes optimizing all opportunities that aid in his professional development while raising the bar for other professional engineers in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean. JACK BALKEESON Mr. Balkeesoon is the Administrative Manager at Fred Chin Lee and Associates for the last 12 years. He holds a Bsc. in Industrial Management from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine and additionally has done short course in Hydrabad India, Ireland and in the United States of America. JACEK WOJCIECHOWSKI Jacek is the Rooms Division Manager at The Normandie. Originally from Poland Mr. Wojciechowski has a diploma in Hotel Management and has been extensively trained in the areas of safety, team building and problem solving. Jacek is a language enthusiast and avid reader. SHAMEEZ BARKARR Ms. Barkarr supervises the day to day accounting activities, prepares monthly salaries and the required monthly profit and loss statements. As the accounting supervisor she is proficient in the Payroll and Accounting software necessary for reconciliation and preparation of necessary management reports. Shameez is presently pursuing an Associated Degree in Accounting. Jonathan oversees and supervises the renovations on commercial properties. He has also supervised a number of projects including nine (9) residential units in Maraval as well as twelve (12) residential units from start to completion in the Maracas Valley St. Joseph area.
